And so far it seems that way. We were sold out of all the theater showings for the first three days... a month in advance.

But we just had nine days of the Sarasota Film Festival, which honestly is its own little bowl of stress, so I'm personally feeling more confident in dealing with Avengers surprisingly.

Oh wow, the Sarasota Film Festival is one of the biggest in the country isn't it??  Damn ...I feel for you, I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to have both of those back to back.  But if the SFF gave you a good warm-up for the Avengers crowd, I hope it pays off and everything goes smoothly!  And I hope your bosses are giving you and the rest of the staff some sort of bonus for putting you through all of this.

Not that I'm aware of. But we're not a huge theater anyway, so it's okay. We used to be 20 theaters, but now we're just 11, and with the new recliner seats, we have less seating than before. There's still some good amount of business yes, but nothing we can't handle right now. Honestly premier night for Infinity War was a welcome breeze. It wasn't at all a breeze; there was quite a few people to the point that we added two showings and stayed open til 12:40 in the morning, but something about the Film Festival is just... stressful. I think it's cuz of all the lingering people in the lobby; I work concessions very often, and they keep lines for each indie-film. Gets really noisy, and you never know if someone will come to get food, but you also wanna get stuff stocked and cleaned.

I think you are correct. For me it was Highschool. I took a 3 year break after graduating, cause at the time I was set on not going to college and trying to get an acting career started... After taking care of my niece for the fair portion of those three years. That hasn't kicked off yet, but slowly and surely working on it. Right now I'm an employee for Regal Cinemas at Regal Hollywood Stadium 20 here in Sarasota. Florida to be specific.

Sorry to hear about depression. Glad to hear you're powering through though.

But in all honesty, you didn't have to bribe me to give you a comment, I still would have done it if you just asked me upfront. You're a fairly new artist on here, so don't stress out if your stuff doesn't become popular right away.
