I can't! I left the CD with all my climbing pictures in Ellensburg, so i've got nothing to show out of that trip! I'll have to have them mail me the disc

You still have time for them to ship the cd, it won't take more then a couple days since postage is just across state a bit. Just make sure you let 'em know though. And anyways, you can load whatever at school as well.

yeah, I've been sending them emails about that and other things, but I think they're in a transitory period for online communications. Certainly michael's old work account is now defunct, adn I think they've been trying to move into a shared personal account, which I don't know. I've started brute-forcing all relevant email addresses :S

If it's a domestic flight, you ought to be able to get onto the plane, especially if there's someone else flying with you who DOES have legitimate identification. I just had to go through some extra security checkpoints. I wasn't able to claim my E-tickets without identification, but someone flying with you can vouch for your identity and they'll print you a boarding pass. If they can establish that you belong on the plane, they have no reason to keep you off unless they find sharps on you.
It was a lot less of a hassle than I'd thought, but it's doable if it's a domestic flight.
That, of course, leaves the question of whether or not Wisconsin has seceded from the union.

Well, according to Midwest Airlines, I can get on the plane, and I ain't traveling with anyone. Just me, my guitar, and my bags. Luckily, I scanned copies of my identification before I lost it. And my mother sent me an old school ID, so they get to see a bad picture of me from two years ago. yeesh.

the flags are a subcersive tactics by the underground resistance. Wisconsin is destroying thousands of them every night, as they root out the network of loyalists that have been putting them up with remarkable stealth. Expect a crackdown in a month or so.

Yeah, i've been ignoring DA pretty much entirely for the last few months. I do have some shots handy, and my friend Stephan has a chip full of my new, bigger one from when I was testing it before I left for KC (back home now).
my big one was putting them about 120 yards, pretty respectable, I'd say, considering I had no way of videotaping it to fine tune.
When do you get back from the Republic of Wisconsin? We gotta catch up before we part ways for good. I miss you.

true. I was using Debian, but only because I was unable to boot the ubuntu live CD, and debian has a handy win32 installer- [link]
When the drive that had debian failed, I replaced it and my CD drive, and was able to load ubuntu without incident.
Comparing the two, Debian has a much friendlier community on IRC, but Ubuntu requires you to seek aid less frequently.
