Uhm, yeah,  I guess kinda? I mean, I go with male pronouns now and by a male name, but i identify as genderfluid most of the time if that makes any sense?

It seems like today everyone is either saying their gay or identifying themselves as some form of gender neutral or the opposite gender they were born. Like over half my friends are like that now so it seems very much the new trend is "if youre straight or identify as your actual gender you're not cool." Its even to the point where my transfemder friends are facebook are saying being straight and identifying yourself as your gender is frowned upon and is not giving yourself freedom of expression.

What's your point of view on this? I'm really not trying to be offensive, so I'm sorry if I did, but I want to hear it from your point of view.

Well, I personally would never frown upon someone who is straight or cis gender, and I don't understand why people would do that. I also don't think it's becoming a "trend" to be transgender or gay, but in today's society its easier to come out as wanting to be the opposite gender or gender neutral (i'm not saying it's easy, but it's easier).

But I don't see how this effects anyone if more people are coming out and saying that they don't identify as who they were born as, but maybe that's just me.
