I would like to know how to get more people to view my site and how to put a picture of myself up on my profile.

well, the second one is easy. Take a photo of yourself, and then do the following:
Click submit, then go to deviantID. Fill the rest out like you normaly would. when that is done, go to the top right corner of the page, and click the profile tab. Then click on the "User page display" tab. after that, scroll down untill you find the deviantID section, and choose the picture that you want.
For the first question, you cant make people comt to you page. If you want more viewers you need to go out and post on the forums, comment on other people's work and just involve yourself in the community. Eventually you will become really popular and from then on its easy ^_^
