Awww. I knoe how you mean, it just hurts more seeing the animal die. My hamster did the same thing wanting to curl up near my hand, I know its only a hamster but i did find her quite intelligent X)
My cat did the same thing.
But yeah. Its hurts more when you see the animal dieaing.
