Oh My Godu, Like I promised I head Matthew Mercer's portrayal as Prince Diamond... It was BEAUTIFUL!! I was in Nirvana the whole time when I watched my favorite episode with him and Usagi in it and WHOO! Okay I'm calm now, just wanted to tell you that. XD

For the record, the only anime role I've known with this guy was Gaara from Naruto. I did more research on his voice acting in video games, and I'm pretty sure I can list a good number he's been in.

Also got done showing my friend Naomi Count of Monte Cristo and she liked it.

Yep. She had a bit of mixed feelings about the ending of the Count but overall she really liked the anime. She'd definitely watch it again and the fact that Jamieson Price who played the Count played one of her favorite characters from the anime The Third: The Girl With The Blue Eye, her number one anime. She liked how each decent character got different forms of character development, and she was a bit heartbroken when her favorite character Franz got killed off but liked how he lived on in the memories of Albert and Eugenie. She also liked the romance between Maximilien and Valentine as it reminded her of her romance with her own fiancee of five years.

Wouldn't blame her, really. I won't deny that I had my heartstrings tugged at Franz's death, but it was nice that a number of characters went through their own forms of character development. And I'll admit, the romance between Maximilian and Valentine was pretty cute since it went to show that not even a loveless father who doesn't think of his daughter's feelings can stop their love from blooming into something arranged marriages cannot achieve.
And admittedly, the most reason I was able to pinpoint Jamieson Price was when I connected his voice as the Count and his voice as Ichio in Vampire Knight (which was a good anime on its own despite differences from the manga).

That was major thing Count of Monte Cristo did right. And yes I agree with you one hundred percent about Valentine/Maximilian. Huh, did not know that Jamieson Price played Ichio. I read the manga of Vampire Knight and but I haven't finished the anime though.
