Uh huh. Your proffs sound like idiots. Plot and character are what make a story read-able. And if they question that, this is from someone who took philosophy in high school, and got high 80s to low 90s in all her english courses. A girl who can write an essay in 2 hours.

I was thinkin about it, and I got an idea for a fic where they're sitting on the couch discussin stuff, and Dwicky's like "look at me be all charming and sweet and supportive and handsome," and Dib's like "OH MY GOD HE'S SO AMAZING ONE DAY WE'LL BE MARRIED," and Dwicky's like "here, let me accidentally brush my arm against yours as I point something out," and Dib's like "OMG HE TOUCHED ME BE STILL MY BEATING HEART," and Dwicky's like "now I'm going to scoot up right next to you so our hips are touching and make a comment about how intelligent you are and by the way you're one of the most intelligent kids I've ever seen and I'm really glad I got the chance to meet you," and Dib's like "EXCUSE ME I HAVE TO VISIT THE BATHROOM FOR 15 MINUTES" and he does.
