Favourite style of art: Impressionism


I am an art education student by day and a amateur painter by night. I love painting landscapes, because they offer so much to observe and to express. I definately pay a lot of attention to colour and it is usually the first thing that attracts my eye. I would like to develop my portrait painting skills to a maybe more photorealistic direction. That being said, i still want to capture the moment and keep a spontanious feeling in my paintings
