Hello! My name is Laura and I live in the state of NY. No no, not the city.. out in the country where it is beautiful and peaceful! The only real downside is this area lacks craft stores. I'm not sure if this is absolutely devastating, or saving me money... heh.If you asked my friends they would all say I'm a craft nut. Not Martha Stewart crafty.. just always making something.
One week I'm sewing, another week I might paint. I'll cross stitch or play with beads. I'm also always on the lookout for something I haven't tried before!
I taught myself to sew by making doll clothes for my daughter first. Very fun projects and they go much faster than people clothes. Eventually I made my little girl dresses and costumes. Years later and I still enjoy sitting at my table and making something new!
Plushes have been somewhat of a recent addition. I was looking for a special, one of a kind gift for my brother for Christmas one year. We were talking one day and I learned that he's a fan of MLP: Friendship is Magic. Doing some research online I was blown away by what I found! I just had to try it and Twilight Sparkle was my first pony plush. He -loved- it! For his birthday I made his OC. They are so fun to make and I love watching them come to life!
Besides my dozens of crafting hobbies I also enjoy console and online games, hanging out with the local SCA chapter and cooking. It's a sure thing I'm always up to something!

That's cute. It looks like it's made primarily from felt. I could certainly do something along those lines. I only asked where it would be shipping to get an idea of shipping cost to give you a fair idea of pricing.
