I've learned it at school. (Gymnasium.)

I read books in German - the history books are far more cheaper in English/German/Swedish than in Finnish. (Because of the quite high tax rate: VAT is 10% of the book's price.)

Not a single language is useless :) (Smile) . I've also learned some Estonian even though there are even fever Estonians than us Finns. :D (Big Grin) Estonian is perhaps the most easiest language to learn, if you speak Finnish as your mother tongue. (Said my teacher.)
