Glad to hear you're doing "really good". 
That doesn't really sound like something you'd say.
But then, as I recall, you were always saying things
that didn't sound like something you'd say.
I'm doing well. Things haven't changed much. Which 
could be a good thing, considering all the possibilities.

I missed you again.  I'm OK, just finished a new painting.  I have to drop off a painting for an exhibition today and have Open Studios tomorrow so needed a new painting to replace the one I'm dropping off.  I feel tired.  Working too hard I think.  How are you?    Have missed you

Sorry for the absence, Larain.
You've always been a hard worker. Always creating.
Sometimes just thinking about it, makes me tired.
In fact, that's why I disappear once in awhile. I need to rest,
because you wear me out!!  
I'm good. Working on myself everyday. Money issues had me down
the last year,as you know but, things are looking much better now.
My daughter graduates college in April and, I'm done paying!!
Happy for her, and myself, as well.

I've been absent too at times.  Creating isn't hard work, it's everything else that I have to do really.  Although working to deadlines gets a bit stressful.
I'm sure I don't wear you out that much. I wear myself out more!
I'm pleased your daughter is graduating, you must be very proud and relieved
