You're welcome. I began by reading how did you get those scars. Tell me, discussion of self-harm or deliberate Batman allusion? I cannot read it without hearing it in the Joker's voice. The replies of your madman are so wonderfully surreal, I applaud your imagination in being able to create such answers. "bit a vintage tongue" is a line in the poem that particularly appeals to me, it transforms the cliche of the gesture by acknowledging it and therefore turns it into something far more, for want of a better word, poetic.
I also read 'He isn't you'. What I found so appealing is that while there is no fixed stanzaic or rythmic patterns it manages to feel so utterly harmonious. I also love the ambiguity of the whole piece; it isn't just pining for a lost love, it isn't attacking the new lover, both men are appealing and that makes it a far more sophisticated and moving piece. I especially love the parentheses at the end. The use of the man as muse is the ultimate ambiguity of his place.
But my favourite had to be "Your Poetry Sucks". It is replete with beautiful poetic imagery that it subsequently rips to shreds. The last line is fantastic, it just has so much bite (excuse he pun).
I'm sure this is longer than you expected in reply, if indeed you expected anything at all, but I find writers enjoy receiving decent feedback on work, especially when they've taken that leap of exhibiting in a public arena.
