I don't know about raisn' cane LOL but I tried to catch a 4 foot Black Racer yesterday. Tough snake! Very thrilling! Cats had pinned it in a small brush pile. Struck my hoe a few times and eventually got away.(Wasn't going to hurt it, didn't) VERY strong. There were two in my wood pile so I think *someone's gettin' some lovin* xD we'll have more at the end of summer. Otherwise, nope, waiting on the rain to cool things off!

well that's quite an occurrence! glad u just wanted to chase the racer off, i like snakes that don't bite. awesome being out gardening, eh? itz finally gotten warm up north and i'm diggin it *get it?*

Oh he'll bite, if you corner them they can get quite aggressive! But they have small teeth and can't bite through denim, from what I've researched anyway. A bite can be painful but I wouldn't horribly mind if it happened, kinda curious! I held one last summer, he was kinda cold and not moving but he was soooo soft and cute. It's up the 80's round here and I'm growing Acorn Squash and pear trees, we'll see how that turns out! I'm glad the snow has finally let up up north, had lots of it!

Gifted ? gifted with self pity- yes, I'm gifted. If you read the journal, yes I have disappeared from DA and have returned with archival photos that I'm regurgitating. I dropped the premium membership for no other reason than I don't need it. If I re-due the journal I lose that display...
