Lol I totally agree! And I love the thought XD it makes me laugh.

Oh yeah, he gives them to his friends, and he thinks everyone is his friends so he’s eager to share his treasures.... which are literally any algae covered rock lol. Epoch, aHorseForEverySeason ’s bb for example collected a small pile of eagerly given (dime a dozen and literally everywhere) treasured pebbles, but that was back before he could enchant them. If Niv is ever feeling down, his silver lining enchantment on one of the stones might help

lol I am really just blown away but your skills artistically and to convey a story so well with just one image and a little bit of words. It’s hard to do but you have it down <3 (and thank you for the tools to clean that mess up, I’ll take care of that XD)

That's super adorable - I kinda want to incorporate that into a little story with Niv. She would love enchanted stones! I have an abnormal traveler transformation planned for Niv in the future where she comes to terms with the anger inside of her as a trespasser. Do you mind if I bookmark this to incorporate Spud into other stories/illustrations I had in mind to help Niv along the way?

Ohmygosh I absolutely love this!! You totally nailed Dune and all his markings and he looks like the definition of amazing! I really love how clearly you convey depth and the flow of the picture s lovely. Not to mention I am in love with your lighting. Especially on the two in the foreground of the picture but overall your skill is absolutely stunning. More than the GP I honestly enjoy, and am very flattered/honored, just being included in this marvelous gift. I can’t stress enough how much you’ve made my day. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

I totally get that worry lol I have it all the time, and it’s so easy to forget stuff when you aren’t used to looking at them and with all the details esk can have... whoaboy lol. It’s part of why I’m always just so impressed (and flattered) when people get my bbs as well as you have!!

yay!! I am so excited and can’t wait to see more. I’m not going to lie I find her design so intimidating, I just love seeing it done so much justice <3 It’s really fun to see all the love people have for their own bbs.

They can be complicated without realizing it sometimes for sure! 

Hehe I did too with the first couple illustrations even though I designed her. At first I went, "woah...what did I get myself into?" but it's easy to break down after a while of doing it now. Me too! I love seeing other people illustrate and write for their esk~

For drawing Niv I shape her body like an otter minus the tail which has that short tail trait. Then there are four kelp stalks, one where the tail meets her back, one just behind her shoulder blades, and two along her back in between them. The top of each stalk is a small ball and from the ball I usually draw between 7-10 blades (however many I'm feeling to do that day). For coloring I use a hard brush for solid edges like the tail, white mask, and eyes. For the rest of the coloring I use soft edge brushes. Does that help? Or were you asking about a different esk?

What sort of divider would you like? I used a big because Thyre and Braesi live in one but I can cut from anything :3
