Hi, everyone! I'm a story writer, poet, and occasional Zen doodler. I quite enjoy learning about world history and universal spirituality, performing and listening to Celtic/Folk music, and delving into both original and fan-fiction, especially with my favorite characters/pairings:Harry Potter: Severus Snape + Lily Evans (unrequited tragic love); Harry Potter + Hermione Granger (they totally needed to be together! Ron and Ginny just didn't fit either of them romantically!); Harry Potter + Severus Snape (reluctant mentor/gradual "tough love" father figure development); Hermione Granger + Severus Snape (non-romantic friendship, sometimes mentor)
Lord of the Rings: Aragorn + Arwen (romance); Aragorn + Eowyn (unrequited love); Eowyn + Faramir (romance); Boromir (just because he's a redemptive tragic hero figure); Théoden (because he has the coolest speeches ever)
Game of Thrones: Sansa Stark + Tyrion Lannister (romance...they needed each other!); Jon Snow + Myrcella Baratheon (I know it's a strange pairing, but I can totally see them making a good match); Ned Stark (because...he's Boromir!)
Hunger Games: Katniss Everdeen + Primrose Everdeen (sister love to break your heart); Katniss Everdeen + Gale Hawthorne (okay, so I understand why she fell out with Gale, but they still had better chemistry, and I have a fan-fic idea where after Peeta dies years down the line, they get back together); Effie Trinket + Haymitch Abernathy (because those two together would be fun!); Cinna (because he just such a subtly heroic figure and rock of friendship for Katniss)
Star Trek: TOS: Mr. Spock...and anyone who can help bring out his latent humanity.

Disney Princesses: Aurora + Maleficent (alternate story mother/daughter love); Aurora + Phillip (romance, original version); the three fairies (because they're amazing!); Rapunzel + Flynn (fun romance); Anna + Elsa (sister love), Anna + Kristoff (cute romance); Pocahontas + John Rolfe (yes, ROLFe...much better as a character than Smith, imo, and more historically accurate); Mulan + Fa Zhou (daughter + father love); Mulan + Shan-Yu (military romance); Ariel + Eric (gotta love romantic Reggae!); Robin Hood + Maid Marian (foxes!!!),
Sense and Sensibility: Colonel Christopher Brandon + Marianne Dashwood (because he's a truly honorable guy, and he's...basically Snape!)
Braveheart: William Wallace + Mirron (tragic romance beautiful all the way)
Sherlock Holmes: Sherlock + Watson (friendship); Sherlock + Irene Adler (mysterious pseudo-romance?); Honorable mentions: Basic Rathbone, Ian McKellan, and The Great Mouse Detective!

My teacher had Harry Pooter books in the classroom when I was in 9th grade. Picked the first one up and loved it. And I've always been into grumpy, misunderstood characters, so Snape was an instant favourite.
