Hey, it's been *forever*.  I almost never log onto DA anymore lol, so I apologize.

Things are actually pretty good for me, me and Matt are getting married next month and we're really freaking excited. ^^  Not too much else is going on, we've just been trying to figure out what to do in life career-wise.  Matt actually helped my brother finish a game app, called Jelly Launch.  It's their first game, but Matt did all the art for it.  I think its a pretty cute game.   They have other games in the works that are gonna be incredible, but it'll be awhile before they finish those. 

How about you? How are you holding up?

No worries, I'm glad to see from you again.

Congratulations, I am so happy for you two. I'm still single and I'll probably be that way for a while but I do hope to find someone to spend the rest of my life with as well, atleast until I get everything else in my life set. But enough about me there, I wish you two happiness for a lifetime!

Where to start: well, last summer I actually graduated from Uni with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I then applied to college in the TV Broadcasting program which I am now entering my second and final year in. First year I learned editing, photography, scriptwriting, lighting and technical stuff, radio and we even had to make our own local news show, were I was made On-Location Entertainment Reporter. I will say, I've been enjoying college more than Uni, and the people I've met and become friends with are all great folks, but... I don't quite fit in well. But I do hope to find a future in Broadcasting (possibly radio).

Aside from that, I've been going to shows, looking for great new music...and I've discovered quite a lot over the year!

No problem!  I absolutely needed to see that series. It really helps to know that I'm not alone in the way I feel. I understood every bit of what you expressed, it's saddening...but also empowering in a way, just to know someone else struggles with the same thoughts and feelings.

I've gone through this struggle for almost all my life. And I've gotten very little support over it. Most people do just tell you to make a change and stop being the way you are. But a lot of people don't take that person's feelings into account. It's nice to see someone standing up and making them self be heard for a change.  ^^

Yeah, I have been in the same boat. Most people don't get when we are put down that takes AWAY the drive to improve. It makes us feel like we are not worth the effort to change. Love and support makes WAY more difference.

Thanks for the interest! I did have Forbidden Love stored away here on Da, but after interests in it died I moved it somewhere privately, but I am seriously considering re-posting it.  I could probably post one of the first chapters here and if you like it, I may post the others.

Thanks so much~!   It'll be awhile before it's up, I have some serious editing to do, (I originally wrote it when I was 15...four freaking years ago )  but if you would like a summary in the meantime of what it's basically about I can do that. ^^

If you want to, you can send me a basic summary. And I know what it's like to not be the greatest writer. I started out on here a year ago with a different account and tried writing. That account no longer exists and I will never go back to it. The stuff on there was so bad. 

As for more art, I have little art skill. Yeah. I want to put up more art, but each art "session" I try ends up with me throwing away the paper. It's just a matter of practice and patience. And I don't have much patience. I've gained more skill than I had before, but I still have a long way to go. That's why I stick to writing stuff. It's much easier. And I don't feel like I want to rip my hair out.

Ugh, I know how that is. I partially deleted my old account because of that very same reason.  Not so much the writing, but the art.  I guess my writing has really improved, which is why I'm giving it another shot... but mainly because you suggested it.  Recognition helps. After a long period of no comments you start to think you may not have any talent at all.  (Which isn't true, but it still gets to you after awhile)

Hey, whatever works for you, writing is just as important as art.  I didn't mean to offend by suggesting that, just really curious to see more of your style. I'll definitely check out some of your writing on your page though! I get what you mean about drawing. Art is frustrating as hell sometimes, but if you keep at it, you'll improve.  It took me years, and years, and I'm nowhere near as good as I want to be.  It also takes a passion for it, and if you have that for writing, well that just may be your calling.

I'm not offended at all. I know I suck at art. I won't deny that I'm a bad artist. It's just a fact. I'm trying to improve, and that's all I really care about. I'll get to a point where I'll be amazing at art someday. For now, I'll just stick with what I love to do. Write. I love it so much, I've written my own stories that I never will post, I just enjoy writing them. And they get lengthy. I'm writing one right now that just hit fifty pages, and it still has a lot more story to it. I'm weird like that.

That's actually a really great way to think about it    I honestly wish my opinion of my art could be so cut and dry, but I struggle with keeping my confidence about it up, and sometimes I really get pissed that I can't draw what I see in my head |D  But I know exactly what you mean, I have a ton of stories I would never dream of posting here on Da, but they aren't for anyone else...they're just for me, because I just so happen to absolutely love writing too.  I started writing my own stories at five.  Just using regular paper and stapling them together, but they were still amazing to me.   I would hope one day you'd post one of your stories, as I would love to read it, (I need new stuff to read, haha) But I understand if you'd rather keep it private.  Some things are better kept to ourselves.  They hold more meaning that way.

I am working on a short story about Ikana Canyon right now. That place in Majoras Mask that's haunted and full of the dead and scared me so much as a child. It's basically my headcanon as to how it came to the state we see it in in Majoras Mask. I plan to have it up sometime this weekend. It's coming out very well, and I really like it. I think it's one of the best things i've written in a long time.

That is an AMAZING idea!  Ikana Canyon always creeped me out, but fascinated me immensely.   I always wondered...what was it like before Majora's Mask. Was it a bustling town?  Or was it kind of a remote place that is quiet but still peaceful? The possibilities are endless and all very thought provoking.   x3

Eh same old just work, draw and read lol thats all I ever do. But I'm doing better cause I completely stoped eating fast food cause I'm trying to loose some weight. Im not overweightbut I wanna loose about 20 pounds so I been dancing to try and loose it lol
