Oh definitely. I'm all about AutoCAD 2002. Not so much for 2004, but back in my senior year of high school, I didn't get a choice there, really.

why not 2004? i noticed about 3 things that are diffrent.

now were using 2005. i dont know if you ever used architectural desktop at all, but it seems like it was modeled off of the old version of that. i dont really know what i like more. 02 is just awesome, and i have it at home. 04 isnt really any diffrent, and 05 is just like arch desktop without the stupid issues that program had.

but any cad class is awesome. right now, im in engineering 2 and architecture 2, so i have a blast for two hours every day

Actually, if you read the official deviantArt etiquette policy you are not free to say that her work “just plain out sucks”, nor are you allowed to refer to her in a derogatory manor (i.e. “really are a slutty girl”). If you take the time to read the forums and the help pages you will discover that deviantArt is an art community based around support for other members, not scorn.

It is true that she does have her work open for critical comments; however criticism here is meant to be constructive in nature. Not only is “you try WAY too hard” quite discourteous, but it is lacking in any attempt to even suggest how that particular piece could be improved. Even in the situation that you have valid criticism which could lead to improvements; it’s polite to word yourself in such a way that it still credits the artist.

The way you treat others is a reflection of what kind of a person you are. Even if deviantArt did support the bashing of others it doesn’t make it an okay thing to do. Aggression begets aggression, and now rather than lifting another up you have created a situation that is bringing you both down. I fail to see how this behavior makes you “unusual” or “one of a kind”.

I hope that you have the decency to take this to heart. If you want to try and be a real non-conformist why don’t you do something really original? Apologize for what you said earlier, it’s a lot harder to do than continuing down the path of anger, prejudice and narrow-mindedness.

either you read it all for me, or you live by the rules deviant art sets. either way, i find that kinda sad. and a derogatory manner is really up for grabs. you may think diffrently than i do. and anyway, isnt scorning helpful sometimes? how often do you get something unless someone shoves it in your face?

i know is said it a bit harshly, but its just so much quicker to say "you try to hard" than to sit there explaining it for half an hour. im a busy person you know.

yeah, it is a reflection of me, and i am proud to say that i am truly a bitch. ive grown so tired of all the bullshit and drama (espically in highschool, since thats where most of my life is now) that now everything pisses me off, and i just stoped caring about what other people think of what i say. yeah, they have a right to be hurt, but i have a right to express myself.

i dont take it to heart because you arent someone i care about. maybe if you were my friend or something, and you told me "thats bitchy" then i would think about it for a while. but since i dont know you at all, and i dont really care to either, im not going to. and if i do something original, wouldnt i be conforming to the original people? no matter what you do, you conform to something. im not going to apologize because im not the type of person to say something that i dont mean in order to make some person who i dont know happy.

Well in the process of creating a deviantArt account you have to accept that you have read and agree to the etiquette policy. I don’t find honesty to be "kinda sad". It’s not that big of a deal for something like an online community, but when you actually get into the real world breach of contract normally leaves you with some pretty serious consequences, I hope you don’t treat the more important aspects of your life in such a haphazard manner.

Scorn is also never helpful; it puts the receiver on the offensive. So if it takes you thirty minutes to say something along the lines of, “Although you are quite attractive, don’t you feel that your subject material is of a pretty shallow nature”, then perhaps you are better off not saying anything. However, did you actually leave that comment with the intention of being helpful? I can’t imagine a situation where a person could use that to improve their work; it certainly has done nothing positive now.

Also apologizing to make another happy isn’t an apology. Apologizing in this case is realizing that you broke a rule and commenting that you retract your statement. Although you are free to your opinion, you’re not free to use deviantArt’s webspace to berate others. I don’t see much use in asking you to do that now, you’ve made it more than apparent that your pride wont allow you to consider being nice. I can only ask that from this point forward you respect the rules which you claimed to agree to when you created your account.
