can I ask why you think it's funny to draw animal abuse? what's your problem?
drawing this kind of stuff isn't just wrong, it makes other people feel sick. do you have a mental problem?
I heard "this helps you not commit suicide" or something along those lines. yeah right. you think it's funny, and you make it look like you're messing around.
first off, you never say it's a vent or a rant, and on top of it, you tell everyone about some "lion torture chamber" in your house.

I never claimed any of this was funny. However, you may be the first person who did.

"Other people" don't have to keep looking at it if it makes them "feel sick." (I'd like to claim credit for that statement, but I am far from the first person who has said it.)

Nothing. However, I am wondering why some obviously impossible drawings, done by a complete stranger, would upset anyone this much.

okay, let me put it this way:
as long as you don't think its funny to draw this, then i'm mostly good. as for the part about other people, they keep looking because they know something is wrong, and they aren't sure how to react.
as for the suicide part, you should see the journal a person made. they have some evidence behind that that you may want to check out if you don't believe me.
trust me, you're going to want to tell people its a vent/rant because if you don't title it that, people get crazy about it.
and i don't believe everything on the internet. telling someone something like that is going a bit too far.
and i just hope you know what you're doing by posting these drawings. it doesn't upset me that much, it's other people who are upset.

Interesting question! When I was three or four years old I started collecting cards that came in boxes of Red Rose tea. That year the topic was "African Animals" and immediately I was fascinated by the lion. I started obsessively drawing lions on every piece of paper I could get my hands on, just standing around, lying down on rocks, etc. Somehow, somewhere along the way, it turned into this.
The manes are always a lot of extra work, however. Sometimes I almost wish I was more interested in an animal that is easier to draw, like elephants or bears or pigs or frogs.

TBH, so would I!! But oil is always so messy and takes so long to dry. Besides which, I have yet to find a canvas with a Z button and a control button on it anywhere...
