It's been a razzle dazzle mess. I'm studying Chinese, have three English classes (one is a film theory/women's studies/english class! Film Noir for the win! ), and working a billion hours a week. But it's a lot of fun. I went to Canada over the summer for about a month, loved every second of it and dream of living in Calgary now. I've been writing poetry again--hell, I'm writing again, which is impressive in and of itself. My fish tank has grown in size and number of inhabitants; now I just need to get a vacuum so that I can get the gunk out of the gravel.... It's been cycling fairly well, too; sorry, purely fish talk in that case. How about yourself?

Ah, I'm always a tad jealous of people who can do so many things at once. And when you like it it's even better. Like for me, I just started a photography degree after 2 years out of school... the subject in general was very interesting, but I had to quit after one little ridiculous week because of major insomnia and stress. Yes, it gets awkward.
Calgary is nice. I think all of Alberta is awesome actually. So you had stopped writing ? I'm stunned to hear that. You probably have new and better inspirations though ? I'll write again too around winter. I like the long (very long) walks to the coffee shop at midnight...... I'll have to get back that 100 themes list.
Other than that, I still have my own hut in downtown for one week... I run a lot. I'm also getting more interested in the concept of anarchy, as there are elections in Canada right now.

It's a crazy deal. I'm thinking of adding a computer science minor, too, which would make everything all sorts of interesting to make sure I graduate on time. Weeeeeee.

What I saw of Alberta was wonderful; I really want to be able to move to Calgary when I get done teaching in China and live there while teaching Chinese. How feasible does that sound?

Yes, I had stopped writing. I didn't have much I wanted to write about; now I have some more things going on worth writing about. I hate writing when everything's going well, as I prefer to enjoy the moment versus not.
