# About me
Like most people, I love bacon and browsing the internet. I love bacon because it's good for the soul and I love the internet because people are awesome and find incredible ways to express themselves through digital art (my favorite medium, but I appreciate just about everything).Personally, I've spent most of my life studying the sciences, chemistry and bioengineering. While I'll always have an interest in science and am always excited to see what we learn from it everyday, I realized toiling over formulas, graphs, and various data was not how I wanted to spend my life. I soon realized after doing labs and homework I couldn't wait to finally be able to get my fill of television and music before calling it a day.
Then it became obvious to me, I love media. And any good media, in my opinion, is something that successfully conveys a thought, idea, or feeling which is exactly what a great piece of art does. Factor in I've been playing around with computers most my life and am a pretty big geek, I'm most attracted to the digital arts.
So here I am, exposing myself to as much art as possible and will hopefully start contributing myself.

Well, Zelda: Ocarina of Time is pretty much my childhood (and coincidentally the first one that I played and logged the most hours on) so whenever I think of poe, it's always those poes I usually picture

Hard to say. I do REALLY like the Island (I feel anyone who likes Pendulum kinda has to, it's so Fing good, haha) but I also like (in order from my most favorite favorite to my favorite, but it really depends on my mood) Propane Nightmares, Watercolour, The Other SideΒ (this was the first Pendulum song I heard), Girl in the Fire, Fasten Your Seat Belt, and The Tempest.
I do also really like Knife Party. I like their older stuff waaaay more though. The last album/EP I got from them, Abandon Ship, was meh, IMO. Still good but not that blow your mind sort of stuff that they were first releasing. I feel they've gone a little too mainstream (not that this is necessarily a bad thing, I listen to and enjoy a lot of mainstream stuff), but they lost whatever that unique je ne sais quoi they use to have was(and/or my tastes have just changed).
I also listen to A LOT of Monstercat artists as well. Probably what I listen to the most nowadays. Mostly DnB and House with a little Dubstep here and there (I use to listen to more of Dubstep when I was first getting into EDM and now it's starting to grow on me again a little bit).
It's kinda funny, I've always respected Deadmau5 and thought he was talented but never really liked his music much (found it slow and repetitive, not enough edge/bite), but lately I've been trying to get more into his music as well and so far that's been pretty dope. Chances are though, as long as it's not country I'll like it (I'll at least give a country song a chance but I probably won't enjoy it).
And of course I always got an appreciation and respect for some of the original greats, Pink Floyd, The Who, Jurassic 5, Grateful Dead, etc.
Have you heard any of the stuff released by the label Monstercat. They got TONS of talented artists
