aw. to be fair vaporotem had a fair side of the story as well, and deviantart suprisingally is very bad for this sort of stuff.

I am shocked at ignorance and the audacity of some people... Living among the conflict I thought she would be more balanced... but she sounds just like those hard core right wing people who forgot how the state of israel was created and what kind of treatment and rule palestinians are subjected to...

if you went a bit backwards on her journals and existence she was drafted to the IDF, and she has some points in saying that the country deserves to be defended. However the level of technology, not to mention the previous history of expansionism plus the ordeal they had with Jordan screws her point.
A good part of her fans are reactionary assholes, south park republicans/libertarians and 15 year old kids, so that would be expected from her journals.
And I would consider her view more balanced, althrough if she started screaming how the Palestinians stole her animes you'd better belive you'd find people wanting heads in spikes
