Hah hah hah! That's awesome! And so totally true in the mouse-over text.

People all the time ask me what you do with a geology degree. I answer, anything related to Earth.

I also love it when people ask me, "so where do I find quartz?" to which I answer, "point any direction". (quartz is about the most common mineral in the universe)

Also, when people around here ask, "which is the nearest volcano?" and I point at the nearest hill. (everything between the Sound and the Rockies is potentially a volcano)

It's nice to know we sit on a thin crust floating on a giant, super hot, liquid metal ball. Beyond that the thin layer of air and the precarious orbit of the planets. The fact that not only is our planet and our star being flung through space, but our galaxy is as well. and a trillion other things are also being flung through space at random trajectories. So yeah, there is serious stuff going on out there.

Oh yeah! Just came out November 25! I am so buying it. They added a ton of new stuff, including new dungeons and a secret boss. Also, they completely retranslated the game. The original they had something like a couple months to panic and try to translate it, so a lot of the stuff was very off. This time around it's a whole lot closer to the Japanese.

Heh. There's been a lot of that with Japanese translated games. Errors in translation and such. And things that had voice in the original remaining undubbed in the English version.

Though the rereleases on DS that I can think of have all had improved translations. Like... there's a Fire Emblem game that was for Game Boy originally that is on DS now and much better quality.

It seems kind of weird to play games that I've seen on the big screen on such a small one though. Like a versions of FF and such.

Yeah another one I have to get is FF6. Can't remember which Gameboy it was rereleased for. That was always my favorite of the FF games. Course I knew it as FF3 back in the day.

^_^ Got Re:CoM the other day. Hopefully will have a chance to play it soon. ...though... the battle system looks weird... o0o
