You're gonna be such a good artist one day that I'm gonna be like "She's my friend look at her art so professional and flawless" and the onlookers will cri at how beautiful ur art is they will be like "do you do commissions what do you charge" and you will be like "$50 full body sketch" and they will cry cause they don't have all that money they need for ur quality

I've had a hard time with taking time to draw because of life lately and over the past couple of years honestly. Life really gets in the way of you doing things sometimes. But I've had some time to reflect and grab onto who I am again lately, and what makes me meΒ other than succeeding and being pretty. (Which I am so very pretty. Aside from my acne. ;3) But it has been hard me.
I hope you can get back into enjoying something again lately rather it be drawing, writing, or gaming, honestly. vuv We all love to have something fun that of which we do when we're not busy af.

ahhh that's very true! i'm just in a stage where nothing motivates or excites me anymore, and things i used to have a passion for i just don't have the drive to do them. they've rather become boring to me or there's something mentally blocking me almost all the time! so it's like. ahhh i'm not sure what im doing. im kinda lost :')

Yeah when I got to that stage I basically did things that weren't really okay even given my age of being 18. Plus before that I just did other things. Like I would sleep a lot and listen to music all day. And watch amv's and read a little and watch videos. It's like that was all I was capable of doing. And some weekends? I didn't even try to leave the house and hang out with anybody. I just wanted to stay holed up in my room to myself all day. Maybe playing some video games if I felt like I even wanted to at the time, lol. Sometimes I didn't even feel like doing THAT for a while. And I've always loved video games!Β
My advice on that to you is: just do what you feel like doing! If you feel like you can do something that you used to like but don't feel like committing yourself to it. That's okay. Just do what you feel like doing, and then stop. like if I was drawing right now, and I got tired of sketching, I would just save the drawing and close paint tool sai honestly. I wouldn't make myself finish anything.
Or if I felt antisocial and didn't really want to keep talking to someone but wanted to say hey, I would do it and when I felt like I was done talking I'd just go "well I have to go now but i'll talk another time".
Taking baby steps is okay.
