Hi! I'm so glad I could cheer you up! Alright, I actually discovered your work about two years ago, when I had come across "The Nutcracker Prince" on YouTube and decided to watch it for the first time. GDenofa's trailer for her fic- The Mouseking's Tail, was listed somewhere as a 'related video' and lead me to your work. I loved your style, and then read "A Heartless Curse", which I now read every Christmas because it's really well done and gives me all of these Nutcracker feels. Ok, now you're probably wondering why I never commented or anything: My parents were very strict and uptight with me having social media (I've only had Skype, until this Christmas where they let me get Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) So, when I asked them about getting DeviantArt account, they said no because they were wary of people stealing my story ideas. Plus, they were confused as to why I wanted one anyway, since I don't sketch all that often. They thought I wanted to post stories and people would take them or misquote me and all that good stuff. So, I just kept checking your page regularly, (because I still really enjoyed your work) which led to me reading 'Encore' and the very cool vampire story (13 and something? I'm sorry I'm blanking out!), and snippets of the Shylancs stories (which are really awesome by the way- you should totally keep pursuing that!) in addition to checking out all your wonderfully imaginative sketches. All of that leads me to now. Now, that I have a 'real' presence online, and my parents are much more relaxed about these sort of things, I figured that they wouldn't make a fuss over me having a DeviantArt- especially since I'm working on establishing an online platform for myself and my up-and-coming work. So, I made the account. I saw on one of your latest works, that you were feeling depressed, so I thought it was about high-time that someone told you just how awesome and talented you are- and that I might as well be the one to say it. I'm sorry if this whole thing comes off odd, but it's the truth. Oh, and sorry for the rant...I tend to do that. In short: don't ever stop being your wonderful, quirky, awesome self.
