and, well I don't know what to say about that, it's kind of weird but, the cultures over there, centuries ago had always this kind of... I don't know, it's just too epic and hard to find in any other, and even now all the places have their way to difference themselves from the rest. and on more material things, the music, the landscapes, the arts & crafts, is just too different from what we have here in Chile (well, except for the landscapes, southern chile is full of green, forests, mountains and fjords 
also, part of my family is Italian, other part is german, other is spaniard other is basque xD, so it's kind of hard for my to feel related to this land and it's people (where most, in the cities at least, have the same random heritage issues) and the culture here have nothing so "calling" as european ones (not just in the north)... at least for me
and ther's history, swords and battles and epic stuff that never happened in this land u_u xDD
