Welcome to my dA page! Whether you intended to get here or stumbled upon me by accident, I thank you for taking your time to look around and read! Sorry in advance if I don't thank you for favorites, comments, watches, or llamas! I really do appreciate EVERYTHING!You may call me Li if you want. Kira is actually the name of my baby girl. And although she is fluffy and four-legged, she's one of my closest companions. I'm strongly against BSL (as Kira is a timber wolf dog and a somewhat high content at that, one could only understand why), and more or less I prefer the companionship of animals over humans on any given day. My other best fuzzy friend is a 15 year old black cat named Pepper, who celebrates his birthday this September 21st. He is a metal head as much as I am, and he likes to ride on my shoulder. 'Nuff said.
My other animal companions are Reno (my sweet baby boy, whom I rescued in November '13), Neelix (who happened to stumble upon our house in the wake of Hurricane Katrina as a young kitten), Sylvester (my first cat, who helped me cope with the loss of my grandmother as a young girl), Perky (the sole survivor of his litter after the tragic outbreak of Feline Herpes), Guinevere (his mother, who decided to turn from her feral ways and live the cozy life of a pampered Queen), Kitty (the deformed but very sweet and capable young cat whom someone cruelly dumped "in the country" in hopes of getting rid of her), Jasmine (once abused by her former owners for being an escape artist even though she was constantly chained to her doghouse on a 4 ft. wire), Little Bit (Perky's older brother who also turned from his feral ways), and Bob (the "cheeky bastard" who loves to imitate your every sound). Needless to say, I love my animals (I love ALL animals), and I've been taking in the strays and unwanted/abused ones since I was around the age of 4. My heart goes out to them the most, and one day I dream on fostering animals to give them a second chance as well as boarding soldier's pets, so that they may reunite one day.
Anyway, a bit more about moi...I'm currently engaged to my wonderful fiance . As soon as I can find a place to "settle down" I will be getting married to my wonderful fiance. While I won't disclose my actual age (my friends on here are, however, aware of it, I'm certain), I will say that I'm in my 20's and leave it at that. My hobbies include wolfdogs, photography (lost my camera, so I use my Google Nexus 4, which isn't the best in the world), drawing (Wacom Bamboo Splash...though I suck), writing (which consumed my life for a while) and other various stuff. My active hours on here greatly vary, so I guess you can say I'm not the most reliable when answering comments or notes. Sorry!
I do work with Kira, who is a Ambassador Wolfdog, and I have a decent enough knowledge of these wonderful creatures to where if you have questions on them, I will be more than happy to answer them. I also am knowledgeable about professional dog breeding (I wish to help eliminate backyard breeding by educating the public), so feel free to ask me questions on that as well. I have experience with Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, and mid-high content wolfdogs. I also have many contacts who have experience with other various breeds, so if you have a question about another breed or even just a generalized question, I can usually give you a well-researched, honest answer. Just here to help! =)
Stuff I like: Animals. Wolves obviously are my favorites, and I like cats and dogs equally. I spent a great majority of my life learning the behavior of animals, and I am relatively proficient in training canines in particular (although my cats can do some pretty neat tricks, too). I also like some video games--Pokemon being the main one. Although I must say, Final Fantasy X is my absolute favorite; don't care what the haters say. I love pretty much all of the other FF games as well...oh and Zelda. Can't forget Zelda. Can't really choose one favorite, but I narrow it down to Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, OoT (too lazy), and Skyward Sword. I also watch some anime and read some manga. Favorites include: Steins;Gate (I'm currently obsessed with it), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, 07 Ghost, Pokemon Special, Inuyasha, Code Geass, Soul Eater, Trigun, and a few others that escape me at the present.
I freely admit to having Asperger's which is a form of autism. Don't mean to offend anyone if I do so! Anyway, I like making new friends, so feel free to drop me a line anytime!
