Favorite visual artist: Whoever makes nice thingsFavorite movies: Lord of the Rings (#3 specifically), Terminator 2, some others.
Favorite TV shows: Babylon 5, Star Trek: TNG, Mushishi, Violet Evergarden
Favorite bands / musical artists: Whatever sounds good. I like Eminem (since Slim Shady LP) and Bach, Neil Young and Johnny Cash, Shania Twain and Immortal Technique, Eyedea and Babymetal and Papa Roach and... More into japanese stuff lately, lots of vocaloid, some idol, jpop, touhou too.
Favorite books: Hard to choose. I've read a lot of great fiction and non-fiction. Maybe Permutation City.
Favorite games: Dark Souls, Star Fox 64, Megaman X, Contra 3 (4 was great too), Super Mario Bros, Goldeneye, Ikaruga, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, Pokemon Silver, Smash Bros Melee, Mortal Kombat 3, Majora's Mask.... and many more. Check my steam library!
Favorite gaming platform: PC. Anything Nintendo pre-Wii, but I do like a good chunk of Wii games and own one. Sony lost my respect ages ago, MS is MS and I don't really like the 360 but it has several games I enjoy. Valve makes some awesome games too, my PC is my best platform.
Tools of the Trade: Technologically technical techno-sounding techniques with technology like my computer.

Somewhat. I keep forgetting that dA exists, to be honest. But yeah, I hope life's been good, dude!Β

Objectively things have been pretty good the past few years, subjectively just ok with a lot of sharp and painful negatives in between. But that's how it is for a lot of people. Hope you're well! Do you still post art anywhere?

Oh no I'm sorry to hear about the in-between negative events ;; It's about the same for me, but I'm doing well now. And no, not really It's been a good year since I've really drawn anything. I used to post a lot on tumblr, but the community can be toxic as hell so I'm wary of sharing fanart there. I've seen a lot of artists migrate their art to twitter, so maybe I'll do that.Β
What are you up to nowadays? c:

Good you're doing well now. That's interesting that people have moved to twitter, maybe there's an app that makes art sharing easier there vs the normal interface?
I've mostly been working. But over Christmas I went to Japan. www.thejach.com/view/2018/1/ja⦠has pics. Other than that not too much. Watching shows, went camping a few months ago, playing the occasional game, getting back to reading my backlog of books more regularly... Will continue to spend some time learning Japanese but all recall kinda vanished when I was there. So it'll be at a dabbler's pace like other things. (I just got a watercolor set from amazon, hoping to crack it open this weekend, of course I have no idea what I'm doing and the last time I used watercolors was in like 7th grade...)

To show gratitude for watching, I will thank you. However, simply saying 'Thank you for watching' is too trite, so I will list a random fruit instead.
Mushroom!
I ran out of fruits.

Thanks for the thanks. Mushrooms are close enough, but only the magic kind are worthwhile.

Ahhh, right.
Im using flash atm trying to make a drag and drop game for one of our assignments, and its being a pain to get the damm thing to work. XD
I was just wondering if you had used it before.

I'd use one of those and focus on doing as much as you can in AS3. I could help you with game logic or ActionScript syntax though I don't know any of the game engines personally. My game making experience is all for native games using Python or C.
Of course, for drag-n-drop an engine is overkill. That's mostly a matter of looking up the right ActionScript classes and reading the docs to see which event handlers you need to deal with to make drag-n-drop work right.
