I have a few quick questions.
A long while ago, you were comparing bullet wounds, and I saw that you used gelatin blood?
Does it work good and how long does it have to wait till it dries?
If you could really quick take the time to answer, I would really appreciate it!

I didn't use gelatin blood, I used gelatin to make the prosthetic.Β If you're looking for blood recipes, i just use a mixture of corn syrup, water and food coloring.Β The gelatin is used for the actual wound and it is solid until you heat it up and then you have a small window to apply and shape it (or mold it like i did there) before it solidifies again.
I'm always happy to give tips and advice so don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions.

Just pointing this out with the group invites, whoever you're inviting needs to know how to get gruesome and disgusting with their art. I was just viewing the profiles of the two ladies you invited, and one I noticed had special effects which is good, but the other I didn't seem to find anything very gruesome and scary. If you know they can get gruesome, by all means, go for it! I want bloody disgusting members and contributors in the group. We gotta get disgusting! Mature content on haha!

I tested out the gelatin... it turned out to be a disaster for me lol how do you mold it so well? When I tried, it just globbed and didn't allow me to do too much with it. One thing I love about it though is that makeup sticks to it pretty well, but overall, I had a difficult time with the gelatin.

Yeah its a little finicky. I still have trouble with molding things. I normally just free hand it and get burn makeups. like you let it cool a little so you don't burn yourself and then you put it over the spot you want the wound. then just keep poking it as it cools and it starts to get stringy and take shape. Thats how i do most of my wounds. I think whipping the gelatin makes it mold better because its lighter. I still need to try that. Just give it some practice and I promise you'll fall in love with it. A good thing about it though, is if you try molding it and it doesn't work you can remelt it and try again.
