My apologies, it's a plot hole that we've yet to tie up (it's coming). Partially for the fact that I just didn't illustrate the first couple pages well enough...but here goes: The idea is that Ezak was captured by this "Genchi" character, who will be a parody of the Pokemon/Monster Rancher-esque optimistic hero. Ezak was caught off guard when it happened and never saw it coming. So when he is released by Meg, he found himself in a completely different place and that confused him to a severe degree.
I hope that helps. I'm going to put this in soon (it was always the intention) Meek and I like to write stories that fall together as they go along.

I been great ^^ school's been freakin' awesome! my art teacher wants to slip me into a junior/senior only field trip to the art museum xD he also called the graphic design teacher and told him about me and how im going to do great in his class when i get there, so when i met him he was like "so you're allie -last name here xD-!" and im like, "o_O" xD im so excited C: PLUS my design for something may go somewhere, if our team wins in the city league >w< i love mah talent xD
