# About me

I am a traditional artist who likes to use materials in more unconventional ways to explore conceptual and abstract images. I like to explore colour and what can be done with it, and how it can relate to political, humanitarian and worldwide issues - particularly on nature and global concerns. While I like to explore abstract and conceptual themes, I also like to do this relating to figurative work in a less traditionalist but more contemporary form of representation.

Aside from this I do like to experiment, so my work remains varied. However I have become more and more interested in the use of objects in painting and using these in the most potent way I can.
