Uhh no. I still have a broken PC and limited time on the internet on someone else's laptop. I wish I had time to write out long replies to my friends .... but I still don't and I'm saving them for when I can.

Ow Im ok. Little bored because my best friend is mad at me for a while now and she isnt calling me... But It gave me the time to finish my biggest paid assignment yet. The windmill mural. Chances are this one will get me some more work.

Have you set up your tablet yet, are we going to see some more creative stuff from you soon, or are you just chilling on the beach for a while?

You're quite welcome. Ouch! No pain no gain, and other similar disambiguations? Have you decided to stay in Belgium or are yo heading back to the UK? Is this going to mess with your apprenticeship? Sorry for being nosy.

No major complaints here. Was taking care of a friends boston terrier for the last 3 weeks while she was off getting married in Hawaii. Probably the best 3 weeks I've had in quite some time! Bella totally reminded me of a miniature version of my last boxer, Ballad. Ballad was my equivalent of Indie. Made me realize how much I need another dog as well as how much I still miss Ballad.

Haven't talked to my parents in a loooong time (long painful story), but I did make numerous mothers happy by volunteering some time to cook meals for an annual mothers day dinner for developmentally disabled teens/young adults that don't reside with their parents. I got to live, vicariously, through their interactions with their parents. Plus it's just really nice to be able to make someone's day better by being able to share a tasty meal with their loved ones. Cooking is a huge passion of mine, so I try to share that passion as often as possible.

I'm leaving Belgium on Friday morning and, yeah, I can't take my apprenticeship with me, sadly enough! I'm quite hopeful that I'll find one over there... either that or I'll die trying to get one! My mind's made up. I don't mind you asking, I'm quite open about my life.

Ah! I love Boston Terriers! They're the only little dogs I can tolerate, they're so cuuuuuute! I'm so glad you got a chance to spend some time with Bella. Are you in a position to get another dog? That would be so awesome if you did! I'd love to see pictures of Ballad, by the way. I'm guessing you'd get another boxer or aren't you fussy?

Haha, just kidding, it's always nice to make a connection with a kindred spirit, even if it's only through the interwebs. And well, dangit, you just get more and more interesting every time we talk! Well it sucks that you've got to leave your apprenticeship, but it's obvious that you're passionate about tattooing and art so you'll be a success at it and I'm sure you won't have an issue finding someone to offer another apprenticeship. Can't say I've known anyone that displayed a passion for something that didn't become successful at it.

Bella was a hoot to have around, I'd take care of her if asked again. I'll have to dig through some photos and scan them so you can see Ballad. I had her prior to digital camera's being the norm. I wish I could get another dog but there's a no pet clause in the lease. I have been considering volunteering at the SPCA as a dog walker though. If/when I can get another dog I'd be open to pretty much any "working" dog. Boxer, Australian cattle dog, border collie, mastiff etc. I don't mind the smaller dogs, but prefer medium to large working breeds. A friend of mine has a wolf/collie mix that is one of the coolest dogs I've ever met!

LOL! I only know what I've read here about your life. The 2 pieces you did about Indie were completely raw emotion, not only in how much you loved him but how much you meant to each other and how dearly you miss him. That's something I can totally relate to since I had to put Ballad down, when she was 5, due to medical issues.

I'll definitely share that story at some point. I'm well past the BS and there's a nice thick scar over the old wounds, that and a few years of therapy.

No worries, hun. It's great getting to know you. I'm equally honoured.
