It is indeed, over.  I'm exhausted.  Well, I enjoyed wearing her, although nobody got who she was.  I did not go to the Marvel shoot, where she might have been recognized.  But, as a wearer of less than prominent costumes, I am used to it.  As long as I like it, that's the important thing.

Anthony took some cool pictures ... I put one on my dA site, but the rest are on Photobucket, and I will be adding more over time...  Link to pictures

'twas uber crowded and less fun than previous years.  I think we will skip next year, though I may go to some smaller cons over time.

I'm glad you had fun at your con.  It's good to hang out with 50K of our closest friends!

In other news... I have finished the rough draft of my novel at last! Now it is Revision City...

Thanks for asking. Yeah it was good. Got to see most of my family. The seem to tolerate me and even find me funny. and I seem to like them too. Strange. Was Thanksgiving good for you? For some reason I got it in my head that you were Canadian and therefore didn't celebrate. I just looked at your profile and you are a U. S. of A. type person. Why did I think you were Canadian?
Usually the December holiday season is rough for me at work and home. I kind of crawl up inside my dead for a while to get through it. I have been a bit non-communicative. If I don't get back to you it's cuz' I'm dealing with stupid stuff.

Glad it was good and that you get on with your family well.

I'm a USAdian, a southerner, even.  But it's ok if you thought I was Canadian. 

We had a good, if exhausting, time.  Up to mom's on Thursday, spent the night, back home Friday, took cats to kennel, reloaded the car, traveled halfway to Florida the same day and spent the night in Valdosta.  Got up the next day and finished the drive to a friend's house in Orlando. Spent the week, headed back north on Friday. Spent Friday night at home.  Did laundry.  Repacked. Got up Saturday and drove to Nashville for another event. Spent the night. Came back home Sunday, where I collapsed with a cold.

We had a good time, though. We saw the new Harry Potter Diagon Alley at Universal.  It was awesome. I could spend all day in there.   Glad to be home on my own turf, though. Cats are glad, too.

I understand about the Holidaze.  I usually duck and cover to avoid all the mistletoe and tinsel and pray for January.  Take care of yourself and remember that it will be done soon.

Well, the first thing that came to mind was baby Danielle the daughter of Luke Cage, but that's weird and makes no sense.
Then I thought Aunt May or Agatha Harkness but they are both too old and neither of them have cool costumes. The Flying nun played Peter Parker's mom! You cold be the Flying Nun! Yeah, that's stupid. How about Lady Jacqueline Falsworth Crichton better know as Spitfire from the Invaders. Your husband could be Namor and you could hold hands.
I would like to see you as Frigga Queen of Asgard. Great costume, great character. Only, I didn't like it when she shouted "Stand down!" Why would the queen of the gods bark a phrase used by an earthbound from soldier from G.I. Joe? I nunno, perhaps my universal translator needs some fine tuning when it comes to Asgardian?

You know, I have considered Aunt May from time to time.  I did dress as Azar, who is 200 years old, so why not Aunt May?  I have also considered Granny Goodness, as my cosplay friends tell me that sort of costume suits me.  But my new one is neither of those.

Frigga is VERY CLOSE.  It's a comic-verse costume, though, and not movie.  But along the lines of Frigga.  If you've read Thor or Loki: Agent of Asgard, you might get it.

Well, I guess the All-Speak Universal translator just couldn't handle what she said, and that's the best it could do.  Either that, or I need a new Babel fish.
