Illustrating for children is pretty fun as you can be really creative and I love using lots of colour. ^_^

My thoughts exactly, it's great fun, as you basically
have to let your inner child out so as to better tailor
your work to the audience...
So do you actually have a job as an illustrator, or is it
a hobby for you?

Yeah, it is my job. I've been working as a freelance illustrator since May last year and I love it. ^_^

Although I really like children's illustration, I get commissions for a wide variety of illustration work as you can probably tell from my gallery lol. I just love to be creative, so I'm happy to design anything really.

Very cool, very cool. I wanted to get a job
in the more... creative field myself, but ended up realising
it's more of a hobby to me.
Seems like a dream though, being able to do what you
love and getting paid for it!

Yeah it is great to be able to do something really enjoyable and get paid for it. It's just getting the work that can be difficult sometimes. It's a very competitive industry. ^_^

Well, obviously. But the quality of your work
should give you a pretty good edge.
Funny though... I actually didn't really
draw anything for like half a year (or more),
and only just recently have breen trying to get
back into it again (which can be quite hard )

Yeah, I can imagine it could be quite difficult, but you seem to be doing pretty well.
I haven't painted in a while, so the next time I do, it'll be pretty daunting lol.
