Hello JozJaeger! I'm crossing the many seas and lands of deviantART in search of artists whom are interested in helping jump-start an original series based around the animated series RWBY by Monty Oum. It is called FORUM,and calls the RWBY Wiki home. It involves some of us users as characters both major and minor,and is a collaboration by us,united by our love for RWBY,in a similar vein as Red vs. Blue was to Halo. It takes place in the exact same universe,but is completely seperate. We need artists to draw our stories. If you wish to draw preliminary art of some of our content,please refer to the forum thread "RWBY: The Manga",the character blog of PerhapsTheOtherOne,and the FORUM blogs of Angren TΓΊrΓ«.

How much competition do I have becoming an illustrator for you guys?
How real is this? (How serious are you guys? Have you decided on when its all gonna start, basic synopsis, blah..)

This is well timed, I was just sketching some ruby-inspired designs over the weekend, was thinking of doing my own thing though. And I have quite a bit going on in terms of paid projects..

Well,there's like 4 or 5 other people who've said that they wanna try this out. I can tell you that this is a VERY ambitious project for us at the RWBY Wiki. We're hoping to one day sit at the top of the world in the same vein as Red vs. Blue. We're just a bunch of nerds who love RWBY and collaborate together to create this project. Once we have an established fanbase of significant magnitude,we hope that it'll catch the eye of Monty Oum so that he might possibly acknowledge our series. Either way,we wanna fully flesh out this undertaking. And that's where you guys at deviantART come in. You guys are going to bring our stories to life in a way people can really appreciate. There is no set time limit,just look over our content at the RWBY Wiki,and choose what you would like to flesh out in animated form. We'll decide who's going to do the majority of our artwork once we have an idea of who's art style we desire from everyone.

Well,devianART is the most reliable source of talented artists we can find,and when I said "animated",I meant that it's going to be drawn out. However,someday,we might look towards animation as a new means to bring our series to life once it gets big enough.
