# About me

I am a concept artist and illustrator, who particularly loves doing environment and character designs. Originally from Canada, I now live in the rainiest place on earth, Manchester, UK. I started working in traditional media, with no formal education and pursued it as a hobby as my mother had been a professional artist and said doing other people's designs ruined art for her. Once she went into alternative fields of work, she didn't draw for most of my life, until I was an adult. Thankfully, I realized in my early 20s that her experience would not be the same as mine. At that time I discovered matte painting, which eventually lead me to ConceptArt.org, where I got to see some of the most amazing artists discussing things and fostering an incredible community. It gave me the nudge I needed to get involved, and to really pursue my dreams.

I have been quite bad at updating this for the last several years, and am going to be doing a clear out and update shortly.

Great! My new place is good and i love the freedom I have with no GF/Roommate/Family etc. I've been writing a ton and have set what i think is a reasonable commitment of 500 words per day. That way i could be finished far more than enough material for a novel's first drfat in a year.

Well, I'm glad things are stabilized! As for me, I had some health concerns, and I'm in the middle of my freshman year of college - both are pretty big sources of stress xD But, things are clearing up now/improving, so, yay!
