And yeah. Well, thats just kinda Sherlock. And if anything, I think hes a bit more... 'warmer' in 2nd series. I think John kinda changes him a bit more human-ish-ly. Sure, hes a bit of a dick, but most people are.

He wasn't nearly as nearly as much of a jackass in S1. If anything, he was a robot in S1 but downright cold and, dare I say it, cruel in S2. At least until the end of Reichenbach. The way he was rough handling people verbally in S2...not something you saw much in S1 unless you count the "drug bust" in A Study of Pink.
