It's a really nice offer but unfortunately my dad's problem can't be helped + work wise - really trying to get another job...
My dad seriously dropped the saying that he's the overlord of this family and I should do as he says...can you believe it?! I'm not even living with that guy...cheezus....

Ah ha. Don't have much good advice for that one i'm afraid. I do know that sometimes guys doing what your dad did are doing for two reasons, one they're blowing steam in a need to feel in control. two, they're looking out for others but cant find the right words or a better way than through authority.
Since i don't know the guy I think that would be best left up to you.
Job wise all i can say is, don't give up, and don't forget to smile. Having spent three years to find a job on my own i can sympathize with how hard it is to get one, but try to keep your hopes up. and a smile can be your best weapon in the working world depending on how you use it.
