Thank God you said something about the 50mm I bought! I went back and checked and read some reviews and it is totally incompatible with the D60. That one was not a "AF-S" Lens.
You saved me from a fate worse than death. Thanks!

T'is Okay.. Unfortunatley the new AF-S Model costs a hell of a lot of money. Yeah but if your getting a new lens make sure it has AF-S in the title or if your getting sigma make sure its HSM..

I have a polarising filter but have not really had that much chance to use it. They are pretty amazing though how they make the sky a very dark blue and how they cut out reflections.. I can't wait to get creative with it..

Thats not a thing you can DeviantART (well not that I'm aware of)
If you have photoshop you can do it easily, just open your image then set your background colourto what colour you want your border and then click on image> canvas size and increae both the numbers by an equal amount to get a perfect border (I increase my numbers by 300 pixels)

Basicly the more mm the more zoomed in you are... usually on macro lens' its a fixed focal length like 60mm unlike the standard 18-55mm where you can zoom..
Why don't you buy a close up filter to but on your lens so you can get closer... you can buy them in sets and put them all on to get extra close! Much much cheaper...
