I think it's a lot harder to write, or rather, to learn to write - I wanted to be a writer for a while, but gave it up in favour of drawing because I could see what my results were just that much easier (which was really wimpy of me, n.n;;

Oh? I find writing easier because you can get a plethora of ideas out without having to draw it... but to each artist their own! But you're right, it's really hard to get support for that kind of thing, because it takes longer to look at than art does... but thanks so much for your words of encouragement! ^_^

I think that's what initially drew me to writing! Comicbooks can sometimes feel so time-consuming to make in comparison, especially for what one sometimes has to say (it's not always mindblowing, after all). But I never had much in the way of words going for me XP They just don't really come to me - when I write it takes me a really, really long time to get what I want to say right. And then I'm not sure! I think the insecurity of that bothers me XP
I suppose I don't trust words to mean what I think they mean; I feel like I can trust my lines to be more or less what they are. Lines that build words, to me are far more nebulous than lines that build an object! A very difficult medium I think! - To me it's really brave ^_^
