I think the ammount you think isn't off by far if chatrooms are included. But mostly it's not hate mail. There are suprisingly many who know of it, and I have goten a few comments on people agreing with me, on the need for swastica to regain at least some of it's former reputation.

You'd be suprised how many actually know, but even among those who know the use of this symbol isn't fully acceptable. And lastly are my kind who wish that even some of the former honor would be returned, as full return is nearly impossible.

You've had just really bad luck. I know plenty of people who know that, though considerable majority of them are fellow finns so we are supposed to know this specific lookin swastica well .

And depending on culture and time swasticas have had various meanings. It is unfortunate swastica is the only symbol that has to hold the worst meaning it has been used for.

You have your opinion and I can understand your feeling towards this symbol, but a crimes of cerain group is no reason to forbit use of the symbol they used. That kind of reasoning can be used to majority of religions.

Untill People can give me a good reason why I can use symbol of Finnish air forces, or why swasticas are worse than any other symbol associated with multitude of things including religion.

Varies, lightest i find is 2,3 kg(5 lb) "baby-bretton" and heaviest are around 3,5-4,0 kg(7,7-8,8 lb). "The Great book of Guns" is really handy one.

How is the design that "general utility gun", you asked help before, going on?

Thanks. And that is common first reaction, though suprisingly more than one would think know it's origins or what else uses Swasticas have had.
But I think there isn't many others who use swasticas in dA for other purposes than showing their "political" standing.

All of those, actually. I am trying to create a compound military gun, sort of a seek and destroy type of weapon.

The soldier using it weighs in about 200 pounds, if that helps with the weapon size. This person has the capacity of carrying her weight.

The main use of this weapon is to kill a large amount of enemies, so I guess it would be automatic.

And it has to be able to tear though stuff, kind of like a chain saw. Or anything better.

Lastly, it needs to be able to hook into things! All this in one weapon.

First though is the rifle from Gears of war with ability to launch rifle grenades but instead of exbloding they act as hooks.

Well any way the gun needs to be Assault rifle(light machine gun would work too but it wouldn't work too well with the other two) for the killing part but the last two could be underslung eguipments. allowing the soldier to use just the gun or attach the "chain saw bayonet" or the hooklauncher under the barrel.

A couple ideas for now, i'll think more after the work tomorrow.

ahh lunch break, bets thing unions have done.

Anyway, There is also possibility that all three are separate equipments thus allowing their own speciality to work better: The hook is in smg siced(between MP-5 and P-90 would be optimal) launcher and the chain is in form of an sword(look for 40K Space Marines for the basic idea) thus leaving the gun solo and reducing it's weight this way either the caliber can be increased or a lot bigger clips.

Do note that chainsaw attached to the gun, like in the previous two examples, must be relatively small and light, so it won't have as much fuel/battery as normal one, to prevent it's weight influencing too much on the guns general weight.

Yeah. That is a real good idea for the gun's weight. The chainsaw should be light. Now all I got to do is come up with some drafts!

Don't worry of criticism... unless it it 20 mm 100round/clip and 6 kg heavy, impossibility i'll be constructive . As for looks well they are secondary(so it can be as ugly/cool as possible) to basic statics but usefull still.
