sounds like a cool idea truth to be told, i want to do more short doujins, but i'm lacking good ideas. so it's really great if i can get some ideas from people.
i've been thinking about writing it in my journal, you know not like requests, just so i can get some inspiration.

>_< Crap...the virus strikes again. There's a spam virus thing going around DA. A hacker or bot or somethng has gone in and hacked into people's accounts, using their username's to leave comments like the one "I" left you. I assure you, it wasn't me. Hundreds of deviants, if not all of DA, has been hit by this epidemic. The LINK the message sends you leads to a page where the virus can enter your computer.

So! Here's what I recommend you do, as I have done the same, and it's been recommended by several news specials here on DA:

-Change your password immediately! (DA will most likely be messed up for you if you don't, as in it won't run well, and of course, the hacker will continue to obtain access to your account.

-Virus protection software! I hope you already have some virus protection or SpySweeper software on your computer. Since you've already clicked on the link, you need to get rid of the viruses that now have infiltrated your computer. If it's good enough, your protection software may have already blocked the virus. But otherwise, you need to run a system sweep, and take care of the nasty little bugs ^^

-Similar comments are spam! Make sure you mark any comments you already have, or get in the future, that are similar to the one "I" left you as spam. To do so simply click on the "Report Spam" on the top right corner of the comment box.

(Similar comments to this one may be things such as "Take this Valentine Quiz! I just took mine! LINK" or "Someone wrote about you in their blog LINK" or "Check out this really cool blog! LINK") -All similar comments contain a link of some sort near the end, and are usually only about one line long-

Hopefully DA will be able to take care of this problem before too long. Until then, just make sure you follow these steps, and then report any comments like this one as spam. Do NOT click the LINK on any of them! That's how the virus gets in!


I apologize that you were made a victim of this terrible event through my account. Again, I assure you that I had nothing to do with the comment. I'm just as much a victim as you are. In fact, I've already clicked the link before and taken care of the virus it gave me.

Good luck to you! I hope you can take care of this problem without losing even more security!

Oh, and in case you were wondering, the virus (at least the one that was sent to me) is of the type that gives the hacker access to any personal preferences you put in online. That's why they were able to get on your account, because they were given access to your "cookies" (Temporary Internet Files such as Browser History, Saved Passwords, etc.)

I dunno if the virus or hacker is only specific to DA, but be sure to go to any websites you have accounts at, and see if there's anything strange or out of place at them. If so, change your password, report the situation to the admin or a supervisor, and check your comp for any more viruses.
