You're Welcome Miss Ma'am!

I don't have tons of new stuff... and it's like all photography or random doodle-y nonsense that is of no artistic value but i'll try to get some stuff up in the next few days... i got a new program that makes simple editting even easier ^__^ IMA N00B!!!

BUT i got this massive inspiration a week ago for a new song and i had a massive heart attack, followed by a lot of spazzing and spewing of words and screams of babbles as i worked it out in my head and it's gonna be amazing and i'm gonna finish it someday DD i started it and have the basic idea and chord structure for the whole thing figured out DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Lol, fail! It isn't that hard to edit photos. Silly person.

HAHA, nice! Minus the heart attack, those sound painful. What's the song all about? IS IT COOL LIKE 'CHASING RAINBOWS'?? 8DD I still remember that weird song, btw. o.o

Being alive is infinitely better than not being alive. Or at least it's more helpful. Unless you were a zombie. That'd be exciting. In a not-so-exciting way.

ANYWAY

Dude, don't complain to me about cold. I live in Wisconsin still, and I'm going to go visit a school in Vermont. Maybe even go to school in Vermont. Missouri is not cold.

Once upon a time there was a girl who lived in a frozen tundra. She had just gotten contact lenses last weekend with a new prescription and they made her dizzy, so she kept crashing her little hand cart into walls when bringing milk to the lunch cooler at her job. It wasn't so bad unless she ran into the violins or trombones that littered the hallway between the back room and the kitchen. One afternoon she came home from work feeling a little sickly, and nearly fell asleep watching TV with her dad. She'd just spent the last week painting a picture and wanted a break from it, so she decided to be lazy that day. After dinner, she signed on to deviantART to see what people thought of the painting she just posted the night before, and found a reply from her old friend Steve asking her to tell him a story. She sat for a moment, staring blankly at the screen. "A story?" she thought. "My head hurts, how am I supposed to think of a story?" So she just started typing, and this is what happened.

And then she found five dollars.

FIVE DOLLARS!>!>!>!> that's an amazing story!!

HEY! what's in Vermont? what does this "school" have to offer?

Here's a tale of my journey. Steve (who declares himself the best singer ever as often as possible to his choir friends in a sarcastic manner just to cheese them off) one day played guitar for his school's jazz band. he was very excited to do so, and found he was able to keep up with the ensemble just fine! they had their first concert and it went swiggity, except for the eternity it took to set up as the audience stared in amazement and a grand piano almost destroyed my guitar. Steve now lives in apartment style housing which is app. 9 trigillion times better than dorm in some ways... even tho i loved my floor to death.

He also has beaten kingdom hearts again a week or so ago and began the venture of KH2 this brought him so much joy he couldn't contain it and yells at the screen during the game... even when by himself! His new favorite snack is Quaker rice cakes with peanut butter smothered atop!

That is a little glimpse into my recent news i hope you enjoyed it

Cartooning school. They teach you how to make comics from scratch. You don't even have to be able to draw well to go to that school, as long as you're willing to work hard. And that I can do. I've been looking into some other programs, too, but they all require that you be specifically awesome at making comics, and then they just teach you to be more awesome. And since I have no background knowledge or training in the making of comics, I don't think I'd be able to make it into those programs. The little school in Vermont was just certified to offer MAs! That'd be pretty awesome.

Haha, nice story! I like the part where the grand piano almost destroys Steve's guitar. I'm curious how that happened. KH2 playing sounds like fun! One of these days, I'll finish that. ;A; Haven't had the time.

Hey Dezis! i've been pretty good, going back to school in missouri in a couple days, and today there's a LIVE MST3K in theaters... i'm goin! ^__^ Other than that, i worked at AT&T this summer... being one of those horrible customer service phone drones no one likes talking to... bgut it rocked because i could give away AT&T's money if i felt their story held water... (which i decided it always would)so that was kinda cool! but it sucked too... but i'm done with that.

Just Finished The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, am catching up in Bleach, and Fooly Cooly. I also posted videos of 2 new songs i wrote on facebook, you should check them out!

PS- your cat paintings are just fantastic! Are those your cats? How's your summer going? how'd the teaching go?

Lol! Sounds like a good crappy job, at least. xD; WOOT! Live MST3K?? Awesome~

I still haven't seen all of Haruhi yet, lol. I did just watch all if Skip Beat! in two days, though. xD; Felt like a loser, but it was cute! I need to catch up in the Bleach manga... I haven't been watching it - been having a hard enough time reading it, lol... -.-; Okay, I'll check if I remember to go on facebook.

No, actually, they're ~goofoofighter 's cats. I <3 them all, though, they're sweet.

My summer's going alright. Teaching was great, I really enjoyed it. I think, if I do decide on being a Japanese teacher, I'd rather do it in high school than for college. High schoolers are more fun, even if they are a bit rowdy and obnoxious sometimes. xD; My kids were mostly great, I loved it. I'm back home now, looking for a job to pay off bills and such, working on art, being lazy without intending to, being sick, all that fun stuff. xD; Have fun at school! Which year will this be for you?

i actually loved this summer temp! it wasn't as humid as usual. yeah it's music therapy... this semester i'm just taking more music theory, sight-singing, guitar lessons, percussion, abnormal psychology, and an ethics class at a hospital in SPringfield

well if you're unable to make it into the dark recesses of the facebook forest, you can try to find it on youtube. i'm uploading them now, so it'll be a bit, but i'll let you know when they're up there.

I hate it! ;A; I've spent the last two summers in Japan, so I'm used to really hot weather. I'm freezing if it's not over 80. T^T So this barely-70 weather is killing me! Though, admittedly, it was kind of nice for walking to work - when I was working.

Abnormal psychology, lol. A class about you? =] I hope you enjoy all your classes! I miss singing.

haha yeah, i don't do a whole lot on it anymore... my art has almost completely moved to music and i still adore it with 98,000% of my being.

It has been a long while indeed. I'm actually in school in Missouri now (Evangel) for Music therapy! i still wanted to be a counselor, but i realized i can't ignore music in anyway, it HAS to be apart of my career... and lo and behold, there's degrees for mixing counseling and music! you should look it up, it's basically amazing. buuut yeah if you get bored, here's some links to new songs i can play, my style has changed somewhat

I am so sorry to respond so late! ;A; I really haven't had much time on here. o.o;;

Wow, Missouri?? How long have you been down there? I'll hopefully get a chance to listen to the songs soon. The internet is crap tonight, probably because of the snowstorm and the fact that EVERYONE is online studying for finals. xD;

Yep, I'm a senior this year. Next semester will be my last. I finished my Japanese minor last year, so now I TA for Sensei and hopefully I can tutor next semester to keep myself in practice. It's fun. My art is going pretty well. I'm improving (and I can actually see it o.o; ) and all my professors like me more. ^^ I applied to the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Program to be an assistant English language teacher in Japan for a year after I graduate. I'll hear back in January, so here's to hoping. I think it'd be a really awesome job. I'm actually thinking about going to grad school later to get my doctorate in Japanese and become a Japanese professor. I've discovered I really like teaching languages. I haven't completely given up on doing manga, but just in case that doesn't work, it's nice to know I have another option.

So I'm listening to "Bristlecone", and it's pretty much awesome. o.o; You much be super-special-amazing now - it sounds crazy-complicated.

I'm just starting my second semester down there, but i love it so far, my music classes are amazing, and this semester i'm starting psychology stuff and that brings the kind of happiness to me that i enjoy

Yeah i can tell you're still getting better at drawing and whatnot, proportions especially i've seen you doing way better! My older sister wanted to be an english teacher in japan for so long, i hope that works for you, that'd be outstanding! where are you looking for graduate school?

Aaaaaaaand the other day i was wasting my life away on video games with bob and he mentioned you're in a sorority or sumthin? what's that about, you like it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

nozomi-neko In reply to InvaderMooch [2008-12-29 18:24:13 +0000 UTC]

Cool beans! Glad you're enjoying it! Psychology hurts my brain. As does philosophy. ><

I'm not really sure about grad school yet. I've been looking around, and there's really not much anywhere nearby... I'm sort of thinking Madison, since I don't really know if I want to go all the way to Oregon, Washington State, or somewhere on the east coast. o.o; I hear the east coast's not all that great. <.<; I'll keep looking, depending on how the JET Program thing pans out. We'll see.

Are you back around for break to be able to waste your life away with Bob? or did he come visit you in Missouri? xD I'm not in a sorority - almost was, but couldn't afford it, now I'm glad I didn't because all the nice people graduated last year >< - I'm in a social group, The Electric Company. It's pretty fun, excepting the drama that will inevitably ensue when thirty-plus girls are all in one place at one time. =.=;; I enjoy it for the most part. We just chill and do service projects and stuff. I got to participate in Homecoming this year, and that was pretty fun. I'd never really done anything school-spirit related, and wanted to give it a try before graduation. Plus the girls are great. Well, most of them. e.e; Naturally there's going to be someone you don't get along with. I don't really go to the parties or anything, because when one can't drink and is trying to avoid every boy who will be present with the exception of maybe two, it's pointless.

What do you do for fun down in the South there? xD

DEZ-FACE! that's awesome (bout all the Japan stuff) cool to hear it's all kinda coming together! Yeah the East coast is lame... drowned my old phone in the ocean got all excited to see it, and ran in, forgot that my swim trunks had pockets and that the contents of said pockets were equal to a phone. yeah, so that blew nuggets. So me and that ocean don't have a very good relationship right now, but oh well.

On the topic of avoiding people, have u considered just killing them? works well for me, usually gets rid of a lotta drama, but then u might end up owing a mob for sumthin, idk what, can be pretty random on occassion.

But fun and springfield don't really go together. It's Green Bay, but with more people that are all horrible drivers (They don't require Driver's Ed... i mean... really missouri?) Aside from a big mall and cool entertainment store, i usually just hang out like always, go to coffee shops and play guitar, study at borders (with my guitar of course ), and my floor does ultimate frisbee a lot when it's nice out, Call of Duty 4, ... and that's about it :/ i'm just excited that our Semester ends April 30th!

PS- in an uncreepy way, i had a dream that you were living in a little shed outside of SNC, and u had an oven that resembled a half-stack Guitar amp and had like 23,000 buttons and knobs

I like the ocean. I met the coolest old man when I went to see the ocean. xD

I've considered punching and/or killing people. But then decide against it. I should do it someday. No one believes I can punch. I need to prove them wrong. >:3

Aw, darn boring towns. Wow, that's an early end to the semester!

Lol...weird... I've destroyed the world several times in my dreams lately, so me having a strange oven is nothing. xD

ok, i gotta say, i've never seen you punch anything... like not even a kitton... except for that one time when you slapped me when we were inappropriately screaming at each other about Eragon! aahahahaha that was amazing! and had some good force behind it you should draw an epic picture of that moment! or comic... or just random picture of you punching my face off or sumthin ^__^

At least you have cool dreams (however morbid, and destructive they are) mine are always retarded... BACKSTORY! i have some pajama bottoms with Stewie from family guy on them. they have no pockets
DREAM: I'm standing in a white void holding my phone, wearing my PJ bottoms. i put the phone in my pocket and blankly stare forward. THE END! how lame is that? that's all my brain could come up with... that's what i desired most in the world. pockets.

there's an equivalent to a budget cinema, and i own 225 movies, so that helps. but around the dorms we just hangout, movies, videogames, punch and kick. i love studying at coffee houses and i always bring my guitar and get thanked by old people for playing for them ^__^

aside from all that tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and loads of drugs. all day. everyday.
