Eh, at least you have a job. I'm still looking for one (though not as hard as I should be(it's more due to nihilism rather than laziness))as I have quit the one I had before moving here. Most places do applications online and I'm a bit reluctant to spend over an hour putting my face in front of a monitor typing away at an electronic piece of paper just to get instantly rejected. Also, have you gotten pokemon X/Y yet?

I've had Pokemon X since September, I admit after I beat said game I haven't played it therefore my pokemon are around....I think 70?? I can't even remember. Got a new game that just came out called Bravely Default for 3DS. It looked pretty and sounded interesting in the article I read........Unfortunately online applications are very common now. What I did was did the stupid online application, then wait a few days and go bother the manager at whatever I applied to so they can put a face to the name. That's how I got my job at Booksamillion and Starbucks...

Sweet. Give me your friend code. Mine is 3368 1633 2702. Luckily the game makes it so that you only have to get your pokemon to at level 50 to become adequate for battle. The game has it so that any pokemon you have that are above 50 has their level scaled down to level 50 as well as what it stats would be at 50 so that players wouldn't have to waste their time getting their team at level 100. The system actually works quite well.

 Also there's an Arby's that is hiring...or at least taking applications, and there is a Publix nearby that is opening up soon so there's also that.

I've also learned that I hate most console games that were made after the PS2.

Played the pokemon game and checked out your friend safari. It's a water type with Wartortle and Bibarel. That being said, if you may, please tell me what type of friend safari I have.

Now the reason why I don't like most games past Ps2 is because most of the developers(and hell, most of their customers as well) care more about realism and story when it comes to making a game. People will highly acclaim a game simply because of its story. I don't give a fuck about how Miss Bliss is coping with the loss of her sister, all I wanna do is shoot some goddamn aliens. I don't even called heavily story driven games video games. They're more like interactive movies. If I really wanted to see wowing special effects and a good narrative, I'd go watch a movie. If I really wanted to witness a good story, I'd go read a book. I want something with gameplay, buuuut....

Most of the games out are first person shooters. It's like if you wanna be a gamer, you better get used to looking through a rifle scope. Add this to the fact that those games tend to be very realistic makes it very unattractive to me(I LIVE in realism. Give me something that'll boost my imagination). I get it though, they're playing it safe. They don't want to risk doing something new because that's how so many game companies fall under. That doesn't mean that I necessarily agree with their lack of creativity.

THEN, most games have DLC, which mostly equates to you paying more for a game that you've already bought because the developers wanted to be a jerk and intentionally withhold content from their customers. Now as an artist, would you release a piece of work that you weren't satisfied with? Wouldn't you feel that someone is getting gyped in SOME sorta way? Add this to the fact that a LOT of games these days simply LOOOOVE quicktime events. This means that you can't even enjoy a cutscene because you're waiting for the game to tell you to press a button at the right time or else you have to die and watch the whole thing all over again. Thanks Resident Evil 4. You dick.

I love my 3DS, and most of the games I have on it. I also plan on getting a Wii U, because on that system buying a full game is PAYING FOR THE WHOLE THING AT ONCE. My credit card information is NOT needed to get a damn Tanooki suit, and it never should.

This is just MY perspective though. I've always loved arcade type games. What games do you normally play?

Yours is a dragon type with noibats and fraxures.....

I admit, I love a game with a good story line....and as for graphics the ones I'm more drawn to is the anime, semi-realistic type: Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, Pokemon, etc etc. I do enjoy playing some Call of Duty zombies though occasionally, only for the zombie killing though, the graphics are too realistic to my taste. If I wanted to see realism I'll just step outside....

Game developers adding extras to be purchased? I really can't stand. I admit I have purchased a couple of things on PSN, but I got PSN gift cards as gifts. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series is the same way with the cut-scene action buttons, especially during the Kakuzu battle, or the Kabuto/Dragon hybrid battle....

I'm still gonna get my PS4 though, for Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV (previously known as FF:Versus XIII. I like me some rpg's/fantasy/sci-fi along with arcade types as well.

Oh, if ONLY DLC was the gaming industry's main source of wringing out your wallet; you better favor single-player/local play more than online. Own an XBox?...No? Good. See, I currently live with Richard, who also likes to play video games. I like my games stylistic and arcade-like, and he likes his realistic and story driven, so already there isn't a whole lot we can agree on. So when we DO find a game that we would both play has Co-op, such as the Army of Two series or Resident Evil 5/6 we feel great that we found a game we can play as a team, and not as competitors(the only other games we play are Street Fighter and Mario Kart). Turns out, Army of Two and Resident Evil, doesn't WANT us to play together, sharing the same xbox, playing the same game copy. Turns out the developers wants us to buy our OWN SEPARATE COPY OF THE GAME AND PLAY IT ON OUR OWN SEPARATE XBOXES ONLINE WITH OUR OWN SEPARATE ACCOUNTS THAT WE HAVE TO PAY FOR. And this goes for about almost ANY xbox game that has online multiplayer. Are you seeing how this is bullshit, Meagan?

Luckily the Gears Of War series has local multiplayer. It's also a really fun game as I love blasting enemies with a shotgun.

Kingdom Hearts looks cool and I'll probably end up getting it if I ever get a PS4, but I only really like Kingdom Hearts for the gameplay and aesthetics. The story is WAAAY too convoluted for me to follow(which isn't really much of a problem, seeing as I play games to well, play them). Hell, I just started a brand new game on Dream Drop Distance on Proud Mode(one thing I will say about KH3 is that they need to switch back the command deck system to KH1 or 2 because the one for 3D is just plain inconvenient). It was Re:Coded that I didn't finish......it's one of those useless games that adds nothing to the storyline. You have no choice in playing through the entire game as one character. Each character has a drop counter and when that empties the character you're playing goes into an induced sleep and you switch to the next character. A lot of back and forth pretty much, but it doesn't hinder gameplay, unless you're in a boss battle...then when you play as that character again you got to start the boss battle all over again. Their is an item you can get that boosts your drop rate so you can play longer though, so just have it equipped....forgot what it's called, but it's an easily obtainable item at a moogle shop.

Dream Drop Distance is a NEEDED part of the story line

Yeah..Re Coded looked awful and I will not ever play that game. (Re)Chain of Memories' card system play style was rather pointless. 358/2 days should've been on the PSP rather than on the DS since they were trying to make an attempt to keep the same graphics engine.

As for Dream Drop Distance, I've been trying to play only as Riku while using Drop-Me-Nots when his Drop meter got low, but the game won't unlock the the second set of worlds, to which I am assuming it's because I haven't completed to first set of worlds with Sora yet. Meh. Still a good game though, that aside.

Yea, each character has to play out and beat certain portions of the sleeping worlds for more to be unlocked. Again, a lot of back and forth. When you're in Tron Legacy, make sure to keep Drop-Me-Nots on Riku, the boss battle even though easy, takes time because it's constantly moving. I kept running out of time during that battle and it was such a pain in the ass to start over again.

I would have to disagree with you on the most annoying boss. The Crab boss in Pinnochio's world as Riku was annoying as fuck. One huge ass hallway and the damn boss likes to cling to the ceiling and jump from one end of the the hall to the other. Normally in a Kingdom Hearts boss fight you'll want to space yourself from your opponent in order to heal yourself and/or your teammates, but I do not feel like running a goddamn marathon just to hit my opponent with one combo before it takes off again.

Aaaaand if we're going into nitpicks here I REALLY don't like what they did with the action commands/menu. It was perfectly fine the way it was in KH1 and 2. I don't like the idea of scrolling through all my commands mid combat because you can only see two actions at a time and I also don't like having to wait for my magic and special attacks to recharge in order to use them. I'd much rather have a MP meter because using magic is almost completely pointless in this game unless it's healing based magic...of course, you BETTER be in a safe spot while using it in battle because if you get hit while casting it, it won't work and you have to wait for it to charge it up again in order to use it. You're better off using healing items, if that's the case.

As for Flowmotion, I didn't think I'd get into it but damn is that thing great for gliding and wall jumping. I also use the hell outta flowmotion in fights. Yeah the rails that are on the floor are annoying as fuck, but other than that tricky jumps and far away gaps are nothing since you can practically fucking fly.

Oh, the pray-mantis was only annoying to me because my drop gauge kept running out mid battle. Most annoying.....hmm....stupid hockmonkey and the damn gargoyle thing in mid-air T_T I don't know if you have a guide book, but the spirits have certain abilities you gain when you work on their ability gameboards, which includes a leaf bracer for certain spirits so you'll still heal even when attacked.....the leaf bracer comes in handy :3 and once the abilities are unlocked you don't need to keep using that spirit, the unlocked ability is their for good.

I abused the Flowmotion SOOOOO much, especially when in battle with young Xehanort....yea yea, spoiler right their!!! And he's hard as fuck to beat, so make sure Riku is up on the levels, because even then it's difficult because Y.X. is super super fast and he controls time and can reset the clock and get back a good chunk of his hp.....it will take you a couple of resets before you ACTUALLY beat him, it's just how the battle is set up. Oh yea, and for Y.X. battle have a few projectile attacks on hand (Firaga, Dark Firaga, etc etc) because when he is in the process of resetting the clock, you'll have the chance to beat him up since he is just standing there, but he's going to have doubles like Xemnas did in KH2 constantly attacking you and they take a large chunk of hp, so time your attacks and use projectiles when you can't get close.

Hmm. It seems that a constant trouble for you during boss battles is your drop gauge depleting. I always set my drop gauge to Slower-Dropgauge to LV2 before I switch out characters(though you have to remember to hit "confirm" on all the bonuses you want before you drop. I always use a Drop-Me-Not right before a boss battle and I also have Drop-Me-Not equipped to my deck. I don't bother wasting up my deck with special attacks because whatever attack you can do the flowmothion can do waaaay better.

Also at certain times when playing Riku I get Regen casted on me. I don't know how that happens, but I like it(also something called Spirit Roar?). I also have a sheep spirit(which I named Bambalamb)that casts sleep on enemies. It's really useful. And I also still have the first spirit you get. Of course, I painted it red and called it Stimpy. I love that thing. Of course I've got more spirits, but those two are always in my party for at least one of my characters

Eh, only in that pray-mantis battle. Everything else was good, plus later on you gain Drop-Me-Nevers, so those were good for the very long battles One of your spirits probably has Regan as an ability and it casts it on you. Just look through your spirits ability grids, they get battle points and you can cash those in for various boosts and more abilities they can offer. It's just the matter of going through to see which spirits have leaf bracer, because it seriously comes in handy for the Young Xehanort, Ansem, and Xemnas battles

My god I just got through trying to beat Ansem as Riku. Why the fuck didn't give me a heads up about THAT boss fight?! The guy before that likes to drain you of all of your health, and then fighting up close means you'll get hit with a combo worthy of Tekken status. In the Ansem battle, you HAVE to get a reality shift on him(which sometimes will activate, sometimes it won't). Sometimes I can't even get a lock on him which makes it really hard to know which way to dodge his charge attack because it hits like a mac truck and if he hits me once then he usually hits me twice. Then there's his second form, which likes to fuckin slip into the background while your attacking it just to DO an attack JUST SO YOU CAN'T hit it as he lands a cheap shot on you. He also likes to push you faaaar back and hit's you with nigh impossible to dodge lazers. Of course you have to get back in close in order to do any good amount of damage on him...to which he sucks you in a ball and yoink away your health. All that said, I can forgive ALL of that if only they took out the part where 2nd form Ansem pushes you back and wombo-comboes you with magic 8-balls as soon as his health gets low.

Weeeell I guess that means I'll have to go level grinding so I can beat him and fight another boss that I'll end up bitching about as well.

A few places are hiring and I've applied to them. Got turned down by the gas station near my house because I didn't pass their shitty assessment test. It depends on the car and what car lot I get it at. I have to go to lots that do financing themselves instead of through a bank since I technically don't have credit yet, despite my student loans and the 2 credit cards. I need to save up enough for a downpayment which everyone seems to be asking for around 1500 for the cars i'm interested in (not crappy and will last me)

I meant clip-on earrings. The last thing I wanna do at animazement is to reenact Jan's scene where the piercing gets ripped off from his lower lip( and my lips are pretty big, so that's gonna be a lot of blood flowing). Ah, Richard'll be going to school by then and he's not a real big anime fan. I can't see him pitching in 'x' amount of money to go somewhere that he doesn't care all that much about. If I had to pick a Naruto cosplay, I'd either go with Kakuzu, a random Aburame clan ninja(because I usually fit the physical description without even trying), or a random cloud ninja.

Our plans is to stay at the Marriot this year that's connected to the convention center, and if not there then at the Days Inn down the street again. It would be pretty awesome to have 4 Akatsuki members though. (Deidara, Hidan (both forms), Kakuzu, and Sasori)I'm putting together a rainbow dash rave outfit xD I just need to get rainbow leg warmers...and pink contact lenses....and make some blue wings and blue horse ears on a headband....and a rainbow wig.....

Ehhh Killer Bee's body type doesn't match mine, and TO HELL WITH CORNROWS. I had them when I was younger and I didn't like having them in(I used to have long hair that stopped at my shoulders that I sometimes wore down). Maybe I can go as Kinkaku. I already got my raving outfit. All I need now is a suitable gas mask and it'll be complete. I can afford one (luckily), but just finding one that's right is the hard part. Though at some point when I move back to myrtle beach I also wanna find a purple colored long sleeve mesh half-shirt and some 3 inch heeled boots with some black shin-gaurds aaaand maybe some cyber dreads while I'm at it. Why have only one cyber goth outfit when you can have two? If it's raving that you want, I can ask Richard about this one Rave Club in Charlotte that he's been telling me about. Maybe one day we can take a road trip up there.
