how does one get "suggested"?
is there certain people you talk to?
certain groups other than the DD one?

If you want to suggest someone just look around at other artists gallery and if you see something you like - suggest it to the right person found from the list here: [link]
You send the correct gallery moderator a Note. Subject should be: DD suggestion
and you place the thumb of the image in the note with a short description as to why you think it should be DD`d.
Example: Let's say you wanted to suggest this: [link]
If you look under the name of my deviation 'El invierno' you can see there's a part where it says: Digital Art / Photomanipulation / People
So now if you look at the list: [link]
You can see that the person in charge of Digital Art-> Photomanipulation is ^kuschelirmel & ^sine-out
You would send only one of them the thumb of my image. The thumb is can be found on the right hand side column if you scroll down. It's :thumb270978706:.
