idk. wanna pass around a few ideas? i was kind of thinking, maybe they met randomly on the streets and theo continuously followed kris around like a pest, and eventually they just kind of formed a "team" of sorts, and they would do stupid crimes together as street kids, and eventually one or the other got caught by the police, and was deemed insane, then the other was also admitted a while later?
or i was thinking pretty much the same happenings up until the getting caught separately thing, and theo was being stupid and caught a building they were in on fire, and he got caught inside while getting kris out, or they both got stuck inside, or something. idk
if you have ideas, i'm open to them!

Sorry about my late replys. I had a thought. What if the whole Kris' abusive family thing still happened, and she escaped, but without the police part, and maybe a couple days later Theo found her on the street covered in blood or something. I see Kris still having the 'touch me you die' reaction. Maybe Kris got spotted by police first since I'm sure there would be some kind of warrant to bring her in... maybe not necessarily arrest her since that house paints a pretty vivid tale of what went on, and soon after Theo went nuts, caused some vandalism among other things, and that's how he was caught.
