I don't know how the "L" got in there...actually I do...a typo.

My very limited Norwegian came from my Mother and Grandmother. Unfortunately I have forgotten nearly all of it...just some "expletives" and random words remain.

Might I message you about some spelling and the modern use of one of the "expletives?" It was one of my mother's "favorite" phrases.

JUST half...? Well At least the other half isn't Danish or Swedish? One old Norwegian gentleman I knew used to spit every time he heard Sweden or Denmark named...it was mostly for show though, he had softened over the years.
