I think if someone favs something they should comment. I keep getting favs from people but they don't tell me why it makes them happy.

i agree, i've had the same situations; but it's not like you don't have their SN. Just ask 'em, yo. S'what i do if it bothers me enough. But other times i'm so happy with a finished work that i don't feel the need for further justification: I -know- that it's not only a solid, tight, contiguous piece, but that it was designed to engender a specific emotion and feeling.

Yeah I could ask them... but I usually go to their page and discover that it's filled with, "Thanks for the fav" comments. :-/ It's not worth asking someone why they faved something if that's all they do all day.
