By this stage you couldn't have failed to have heard about The Lion Guard. What's your thoughts on it, especially given that it comes only a short time after the completion of Kopa's Legacy? Me personally, I'm in the middle of writing my own fanficiton that was meant to tie the film series and the book series together so I've got to hold off and see how this new series ties into the films.

I'm definitely surprised that after all this time there's going to be new canon to the TLK universe. I'm not quite sure if it's necessary, and whether or not it's going to be good content remains to be seen. I think that with 20 years of TLK fanfiction written, most of the old canon has been too firmly grounded to be dislodged now by this Lion Guard thing. Still, I am planning to do at least one more novel, and who knows, perhaps I will be able to integrate the new canon into it.
P.S. I hadn't heard from you in forever. I had no idea you were following Kopa's Legacy.
