Okay so I'm still relatively new to deviantart, so I'm not really sure how to get myself around in terms of popularity. It's really a trivial thinig, and I know it shouldn't bother me however I just can't help but wonder how to really get up there. I feel that you might know something because your page seems to be quite active. Do you have any pointers?

You can Favorite more or watch more people. If you fave more, people will go to your page and say thanks, but they see your artwork too! and if you watch, they will go to your page too, and see your artwork too! Also, if you're nice, and I mean extremely nice like comment and say nice feedback, they will gradually watch you because yo are a nice person!
What you don't want to do is be inactive. If you not active, people will gradually not get entertained and will become bored as well as giving no feedback
