Im doing pretty ok, thank you. Im having a lot of fun with my Chocolates and Confections class (though boiling suger hurts like a sonofabitch). Thus far, I've made caramel apples, taffy, toffee, fudge and butter mints.

As for my classes, I only did the one semester, the move kinda forced a hold on college for the moment, so I'm just trying to recover and get back into drawing for the time being since I have a big project that needs to be done before this year is over with. Its very personal and very important.
Otherwise just trying to take it one day at a time.

Yeah, sugar burns are the second worst I've ever had (got blisters on the back of my neck and shoulders while fishing, couldn't swim in the ocean after cause it hurt o3o)
XD Yeah, we made candied nuts, Pralines and Brittle (we didn't have Peanuts, so we used coco nubs (bi-product of the chocolate making prosses, its basicly just unsweetened chocolate)). Im having a great time, and in a few weeks time, we move onto chocolates!
I hope your move went well overall, even if it has inconvenienced you academically wise. Whats the project for, if you dont mind me asking? Do you mean that you wanna get it finished before the end of the school year, or the actual year?

Eek, that sucks. One of my best friends is moving Friday from our town in Illinois, to about 10 minutes outside of Minneapolis, about 7 hours from home.
I cant wait to see it, its sounds very exciting. Given how in the past many of your works have been quite personal and symbolic to your being, the fact that your putting emphasis on these facts leaves me eager to view it once its completed.

Oh gosh, I wouldn't call myself a "Coroner", although it has a nice ring to it and being an embalmer does kinda relate to the definition.
It is a degree and considered "entrepreneur", even if I have no desire to ever go that rout, so getting scholarships can be very limiting, that's okay though it wont stop me.
I do have a dream job once I get my degree, I'll have to be on 'internship' for at least a year before I can even get my official license, again, I don't mind as I love learning new things even if it may have me a little to no pay, I want the experience and confidence in what I'm doing more than the pay anyway.
After the internship and I get my license in whatever state I end up in, my dream position is to work for the state medical. Basically where 'donations/autopsies' go to. Its basically the 'body transit.' I would love to maintain and 'give out' bodies to their destinations, embalming the new 'donations' and bonding with like minded morbid folk in the process.
I feel like working for state medical would be far more rewarding, have a more interesting setting, plus I would feel more comfortable working with the bodies donated since well...they're donated by the diseased, and will be used to help the next generation of surgeons/doctors, or on the criminal side of things, be able to prove justice for their death and the families involved in the autopsy.
Of course that is my dream job, and it will not be easy, so the next best thing I feel would be working at a large university I suppose.
As for the project, again, I do really appreciate hearing that you're interested, I'm working as much as I can to bring it forth soon the move set me back but I'm still determined.

I'll be honest, its sounds like a bit of a creepy job. A very cool and interesting job, but a bit creepy none the less. You make it sound like your one of the people who send mail up though tubes in big buildings, only the mails corpses that you've pickled and the buildings the entire state.
It is admirable as well, considering both how dangerous and gross the job could be, but as you said, its also quite important as well for both crimes and learning experiences for young doctors.
Of course Im interested in your project, I enjoy all your art work, I love learning about all the symbolism within it, along with how unique it is over all with your art style.
Also, sorry for taking so long to reply, its been a bit of a difficult past week.

Thanks for the insight and opinion on what I wanna do as a career, not many people are comfortable with such things, most just assume I'm some edge lord or something when really there is an importance I feel drawn to and a unique aspect to embody for a job that not many would be able to say they are able to do.
I believe everyone has a place if they listen and accept their inner calling, its just a matter of embracing it and still try and live life to the fullest while you can.

Im a minor artest myself, though my paint and canvas are pastries and desserts, and I feel that honesty works best when working with art, even if you must be a bit hard on some creations.

HEY NOW! Baking is an art itself, and not easy to do, I've seen some space cakes that look freaking amazing! Don't think for a second
that your baked goods are no a sort of expression, I love food and you could make cupcakes and cakes based off of characters or make a

Im not saying that baking ISNT an art, its simply a different form. Honestly, I feel a bit like Severus Snape when Im baking. *Foolishly tried to turn Snapes beginning of the year speech into something pastries related but Im not a good story teller *.
To be honest, cake is kind of boring to make. I love making things like Eclirs and Paris Brests, or Crepes, or Russian Cigarette cookies. There is so much more to it then just cakes and pies, its a labor of love, as is most art, but as long as you love it then its worth it.
